It’s a pretty typical Hochatown-style pocket—wooded, relaxed, and designed for people who want that “in the trees” cabin experience while still being a short drive from spots like Mountain Fork Brewery and the main strip.

Getting around here is pretty straightforward—most people drive everywhere since things are spread out between the cabins, the Hochatown strip, and the lake. You’ll be just a short drive from restaurants, breweries, and activities, and parking is usually easy and available at most places. There’s no real public transportation, so having a car is key, especially if you plan to explore the state park, lake, or hiking trails. Rideshare can be limited or slower during busy weekends, so it’s better to plan on driving yourself for most outings.

It can get a little busier during peak seasons, but overall it still keeps that quiet, nature-first feel that makes it easy to relax.

✓ Firewood isn’t always provided, so you may want to grab some locally for the fire pit. Please fully extinguish fires after use and clean the grill after grilling.
