It's common to see deer wandering through the woods, especially in the mornings and evenings, and most traffic in the area consists of fellow vacationers heading to nearby attractions.

Getting around is pretty straightforward, and most visitors explore the area by car since public transportation is very limited. The roads throughout Hochatown and Broken Bow are easy to navigate, though they can be busier on weekends and holidays when visitors are arriving for lake trips and cabin getaways.
