With a myriad of outdoor living spaces and all ensuite bedrooms, the recently remodeled home at 338 Surfsong Road is ideal for hosting family and friends on Kiawah's immaculate beach, enjoy soaking up the sun next to the sparkling pool (can be heated for $225 per day plus tax).
A foyer with a large window overlooking one of the large homesite's magnificent live oak trees will welcome them inside. The gorgeous, dark-stained, wide-plank oak hardwood flooring leads up the stairs and continues throughout the home.
The light-filled, high-ceilinged living room enjoys a striking wall of white built-in library shelving, pale coastal furniture, and tall windows and glass doors leading to this level's wide rear sundeck. This space is open to the dining room with its dramatically vaulted ceiling, a dining table that seats ten, and windows on two walls showcasing views of the blue Atlantic.
The spacious kitchen offers clean white cabinetry, granite countertops, and a wide breakfast bar with extra seating for four. The high-end stainless-steel appliances include a Wolf® range and oven with custom stainless hood, Bosch® dishwasher, and Sub-Zero® refrigerator.
Just around the corner, open to the living room, is the home's study and media room with windows overlooking the treetops. Also on this level is a generously sized half bath. It's tailored perfection with a vessel sink atop a modern wall-mounted wooden countertop.
Also tucked away on this floor is the private master suite. In the spacious bedroom, tall windows and glass doors showcase the views and open to the sundeck. In the pristine bath, there's a large glass-surround shower with handheld showerhead, his-and-hers wall-mounted vanities, and an immaculate standalone tub in its own windowed space.
Descend the staircase and you'll find a separate family and game room with its own glass doors opening to the second-story balcony. This living space also has a sofabed for an extra guest.
The four ensuite bedrooms on this level offer light, bright baths with fresh white vanities, frameless-glass showers, and in one, a frameless-glass shower and tub. The first bedroom features a king bed with white bed linens and a row of windows over the bed; the second offers a queen bed with wooden headboard and its own private entrance to the second-story balcony. The third and fourth bedrooms each include two twin beds and windows on two walls, inviting natural light inside.
Step up the last flight of stairs with its skylight, and you'll find the spectacularly sited home office, with windows and a glass door opening to a top-level balcony with stunning views. Here, as with all the home's outdoor living spaces, the railing is made of steel cable so as not to obstruct the breathtaking views of the sea.
No smoking, no pets, and no events are permitted, no exceptions will be made. Guests are prohibited from using the fireplace.
