Come find rest and relaxation at our cozy cottage on Kiawah Island. Enjoy the breeze and the sound of crashing waves from our deck. Watch for wildlife from our screened porch as the tide ebbs and flows in the inlet behind the cottage. Our cottage, located in the gated Inlet Cove community, is perfect for family gatherings with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and plenty of room for fun both indoors and out. Inlet Cove is a special neighborhood on Kiawah Island, with its own private pool (available seasonally) and dock on the Kiawah River available only to residents and guests staying at Inlet Cove. Bring your kayak or paddle board – or rent one when you get here – and launch it from the dock just a short walk from the cottage. The dock is also great for crabbing or fishing, and is a fantastic place to enjoy the sunsets over the river (no boats please). Watching the dolphins play and feed along the riverbank is a don’t-miss event! Walk – or ride your bike – and enjoy the miles and miles of gorgeous beach found on Kiawah, or explore the island, with its unsurpassed river, ocean and marsh views, via the extensive network of bicycle trails. You can also enjoy the views from our lower deck while cooking dinner on the grill, or just relax in one of the rocking chairs or the hammock.
Our cottage is centrally located within Inlet Cove between the community pool and the beach. A leisurely trail also connects our neighborhood to the General Store and Freshfields Village! If golf and tennis are your passions, you’ve come to the perfect vacation spot – Kiawah has 5 championship golf courses. The famous Ocean Course was Host to the 1991 Ryder Cup, the 2007 Senior PGA Championship and the 2012/2021 PGA Championship. Kiawah has also been ranked as the #1 tennis resort in the world. Both clay and hard courts are available, along with fully stocked pro shops. In addition, Kiawah is home to a lovely spa at The Sanctuary and a wonderful children’s camp (Kamp Kiawah) offering activities and adventures throughout the year. The cottage includes a fully equipped and newly renovated kitchen with seating for 3 at the island. The master bedroom has a king size Tempurpedic bed and connects directly to the master bathroom.
