Set high in Moonridge with sweeping views toward Bear Mountain, The Pine & Paw Lodge is a one-of-a-kind luxury mountain retreat created for guests who want more than a standard Big Bear cabin. Spanning 3,300 sq ft across 4.5 levels, this modern-rustic lodge brings together dramatic architecture, curated design, expansive indoor-outdoor living, spa-inspired amenities, and entertainment spaces that make the home feel like a private mountain resort.
The main living level is designed to impress from the moment you step inside. Soaring ceilings, oversized windows, warm wood finishes, floating stairs, a statement gas fireplace, and custom stained-glass chandeliers create a grand yet inviting gathering space with views across the valley, trees, and Bear Mountain slopes. A baby grand piano and vintage-inspired game loft add personality and character, giving the home a rare balance of elevated design and playful energy.
Kitchen and dining
The fully equipped eat-in kitchen is built for group stays, slow breakfasts, après-lake dinners, and everything in between. Enjoy high-end LG appliances, a cooktop island, farm sink, refrigerator, freezer, ice maker, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, blender, tea kettle, wine glasses, mugs, cookware, baking sheets, dishes, utensils, BBQ tools, coffee, tea, and generous prep space. The dining table seats 8, with additional bar seating for 4 at the island, creating an easy flow for shared meals and relaxed conversation.
Sleeping arrangements
The Pine & Paw Lodge sleeps 12 guests across 4 bedrooms and 7 beds. The primary suite feels like a private luxury retreat with a king bed, gas fireplace, Samsung Frame TV, seating area, private deck, blackout curtains over the primary slider, beautiful natural light, and elevated views. The ensuite bath offers a spa-level experience with a soaking tub, wet-room shower, 16" rain shower head, body sprays, separate toilet closet, walk-in closet, linen storage, and a private infrared sauna with seating for up to 3.
Two additional queen bedrooms each offer private deck access with outdoor seating, giving guests their own quiet place to enjoy the mountain setting. The bunk room includes 4 full-size beds, making it a strong setup for kids, teens, or additional adults. The home includes 3 full bathrooms, including a lower bathroom with double vanity areas and a large step-in tiled shower.
Entertainment and game spaces
This home was designed for memorable group stays. Above the great room, the game loft features Star Wars pinball, Tic Tac Toe, chess/checkers, backgammon, foosball, mini billiards, mini ping pong, mini air hockey, and more. A wall-mounted video arcade machine with 500+ games is also coming soon and will be added once received.
Downstairs, the Star Wars themed media room creates a private theater-style experience with a 100" QLED TV, Samsung surround sound, oversized lounge seating with double chaise, dimmed movie lighting, blackout curtains to reduce daytime glare, popcorn machine, mini fridge, sink, microwave, blender, and full snack counter. This large media room is one of the home’s standout gathering spaces and a major highlight for movie nights, game days, and relaxed group hangouts.
Outdoor living
Summer in Big Bear is made for outdoor living, and this home offers multiple spaces to enjoy it. Step out onto the decks and balconies for fresh mountain air, open views, and relaxed afternoons outside. Grill on the gas BBQ, use the pizza oven, dine outdoors, soak in the hot tub, or gather around the fire pit with Adirondack seating as the evening cools. With 3 balconies, 2 decks, outdoor furniture, outdoor dining, a BBQ area, hot tub, fire pit, and forest-facing lower patio, the home gives your group plenty of room to spread out and reconnect.
Luxury amenities and conveniences
The Pine & Paw Lodge includes 2 fireplaces, a private infrared sauna, hot tub, game room, media room, smart TV, cable TV, surround sound, Tesla / EV charger, Tesla Powerwalls backup battery system, washer and dryer, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, dishwasher, tankless water heater, forced air heat, snow shovel, ice scraper, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen essentials.
Safety features include smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, first aid kit, flashlight, and night lights.
Additional guest touches include a P&P Guest Guide located on the entry mud drop table, a custom P&P guest book, and a large basket behind the mud drop shoe bench with 16 pairs of washable, color-coordinated slippers in various sizes.
Please note: This is a strictly no-smoking and no-shoes home. Guests are asked to wear socks, go barefoot, or use the provided slippers while inside.

• Parking: Up to 4 cars maximum. All vehicles must fit in the designated parking area.
• Pet policy: This home is pet-friendly for up to 2 dogs.
• Pet fee: $85 per pet, per stay.
• Please include all pets on your reservation so the proper pet fee can be applied before arrival.
• No smoking: This is a strictly no-smoking home.
• No shoes inside: Guests are asked to remove shoes while inside the home. Socks, bare feet, or the provided slippers are welcome.
• Slippers provided: A basket of washable slippers in various sizes is provided near the entry mud drop area for guest use.
• EV charger: A Tesla / EV charger is available for guest use.
• Media room: The downstairs media room is a major highlight of the home and includes blackout curtains to reduce daytime glare on the TV.
• Arcade/game amenities: The game loft currently includes Star Wars pinball, Tic Tac Toe, chess/checkers, backgammon, foosball, mini billiards, mini ping pong, and mini air hockey.
