Kick back and relax in this calm, loft-inspired space that has been thoughtfully designed. This newly updated space has it's own balcony with butte views, open space for your furry friend and a kids play nook. Just minutes from downtown makes this peaceful location ideal to explore Durango and surrounding areas. Relax in front of the fireplace after an adventurous day riding the historic train or exploring the San Juan Mountains. The apartment is located on 10 acres with other units on it.
The space is a loft style, A-frame design that has a room upstairs with a queen bed and kids play/reading nook. There is a 45" TV, sitting area, and a balcony. The balcony has butte views, a hammock chair to relax in while enjoying your morning coffee. The small but mighty kitchen is sure to delight the chef with it's quaint dining area that is open to the living room . The living room has a cozy couch to watch the 55" TV. There is a full size Murphy bed in the living room for additional guests or the kids. The modern bathroom is freshly renovated and has a shower/bathtub combo. There is a closet with washer and dryer along with small kitchen appliances, safety items, additional dining chairs and bedding for the Murphy bed. There is a narrow spiral stair case to get to the upstairs bedroom space. The apartment is approximately 650sq ft. Additional notes: the internet is provided with by Starlink. Due to the location of the property there is cell phone reception with AT&T, but Verizon is not very reliable.
Each apartment has it's own private entrance. There is a large parking lot located right off the paved road (207) to park. The parking lot that can accommodate larger vehicles and trailers. Please let us know if you do have a larger vehicle or trailer you will be bringing.

Lightner Creek Road (County Road 207) is a beautiful canyon surrounded country road with hiking and biking trails just a couple minutes from the house; Dry Fork Trailhead and Lightner Creek Trail head to Twin Buttes Trail Head are a 1.7 mile from apartments.
The road is Lightner Creek Road or County Road 207 is a country road that is paved and the parking lot is right off the road. The quiet road is easy to walk or ride a bike on, but be aware that there are no big shoulders or designated bike lanes. There are trail heads for biking and hiking within a 1/2 mile of property. Downtown Durango is a 12 minute drive. Main attractions: Mesa Verde National Park 35 Minutes; 39 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort; 2 hours to Telluride; 1 hour 15 min to Pagosa Springs; 1 hour 45 minutes to Wolf Creek Ski Area; 1 hour 11 minutes to Historical Silverton
