Bedrooms

All five bedrooms are located on the second floor and are fully stocked with fresh linens, extra blankets, and pillows — no need to pack any!

There are 2 full bathrooms and 1 half bath — each stocked with the essentials, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer, and plenty of towels.

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and entertain — appliances, cookware, utensils, and a full coffee bar. The dining area seats 12 at a beautiful retro mid-century modern table, with additional seating available for your full group. A high chair is also available for little ones.

Outdoor Space

Step outside to your own private backyard oasis. The fully fenced yard features a large deck with a gas grill, a cozy fire pit with some wood provided, and a private hot tub right off the deck — perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.

Heating & Cooling

The home is heated centrally and stays cozy year-round. For summer stays, please note that bedrooms are cooled by individual window AC units, and the first-floor living room has a floor AC unit. Other common areas are not air-conditioned, but stay comfortable thanks to the home's forest setting and ceiling fans.

ommunity Amenities (Pool & Lake Access)

Guests have access to the community's heated pool and lake when they are in season.

Pool details:

• Open daily from June 21 through Labor Day (weekends only starting Memorial Day)
• Hours: 11am–7pm
• Located approximately 1 mile from the house (a 5-minute drive or easy walk)
• Entry: $5 per person, per day for guests 14 and older (children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult) — cash only
• Longer-stay discounts are available at the pool

Guest FAQs – Paradise in Pocono Summit
-Is the pool private or shared?
The pool is part of a community amenity and is shared with others in the neighborhood.

-Why do I need to complete a verification process?
We partner with Superhog to verify guests for safety and insurance purposes. This must be completed before receiving your check-in instructions.

-What if I’m having trouble verifying my ID on the app?
If you're experiencing issues, please copy and paste the link in your browser. If this does not solve the issue, please reach out directly to us directly for the link. This is required to finalize your booking.

-What information does the HOA require before my stay?
The HOA requires the first and last name and age of every guest over 2 years old, submitted at least 72 hours before check-in. The reservation may be canceled with no refund if noncompliant.

-What happens if I don’t submit the HOA form?
Guests not listed on the form may be denied access to the property. Last-minute submissions may incur a $300 fee or guest will be denied access if the community does not allow last minute submission. No refunds

-What is the credit card hold for?
This is part of our rental security process. We place a temporary hold to verify your identity and release it 7 days after checkout if there are no damages or rules broken.

-I received a link to sign something. What is this for?
That’s the rental agreement and security form for your booking. All guests must sign it to complete the reservation.

-I’m having trouble with the form link – it won’t let me do anything. What should I do?
Try using the corrected link provided in the follow-up message. If it still doesn't work, contact us and we’ll assist. If you have submitted the form and need to update your guest list, you will need to use a different email account and submit all information again.

-Are pets allowed and what are the fees?
Yes, with approval. Fees are:

• 1st pet: $150
• 2nd pet: $100
• 3rd pet: $100

-Do emotional support animals count as pets?
Yes, ESAs are subject to approval and applicable pet fees unless certified as a service animal under ADA.

-Does the home have central A/C?
No, the home uses baseboard heating with individual room thermostats. Air conditioning may not be central, but is supplemented with units or fans in the bedrooms.

Guests will have access to the beach and pool when they are open in the community.
-All guests 14 and over must purchase an amenity pass which can be purchased at the pool area (CASH ONLY)
-Wristbands- $5/person/day discounts given for longer stays

HOA Registration (Required Before Your Stay)

Our community requires all guests to be registered before arrival. After booking, we'll send you a simple form to complete — it just takes a few minutes! You'll need:

• First and last names and ages of all guests
• Vehicle information for each car you're bringing

Please complete this promptly after booking so your access to the community is ready when you arrive. Guests who are not registered will not be granted community access, so we want to make sure everything is set up smoothly for you in advance.

Pets

We love furry guests at Stillwater Thicket! Dogs are welcome — just make sure to add them during booking. A $100 pet fee will be applied to your stay. Pets brought without prior approval may result in additional fees, and guests are responsible for any damage or extra cleaning caused by their pet.
