New pictures updated (July 2023)! Gorgeous, newly renovated (spring 2023) cottage on the river inlet in one of Kiawah's most popular communities, Inlet Cove, located by the bridge leading toward the beach access with views of the Kiawah River, marsh, and creek. Brand new updates include a third full bathroom (only one in the area with three full baths), more spacious master bedroom, bathroom, and closet (can fit a pack and play in the closet!), hot water outdoor shower, deck updates, painting, stunning metal roof, and many more!
The cottage includes a fully equipped and newly renovated kitchen with seating for 4 at the countertop bar. In addition, the large open dining-living area includes a dining room table that seats up to 8 as well as plenty of space for lounging in the living room and the adjacent screened porch. The screened porch has comfy furniture included an oversize couch, just perfect for those post-tee time or long day at the beach naps listening to the river and wildlife. The newly expanded and spacious master bedroom has a king size bed and connects directly to the master bathroom with private water closet and extra large closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed with its own bath and a third bedroom with a queen with twin bunk set and an adjacent bath. The living room has a 65 inch Smart TV and Blu-ray/DVD player and there is a flat screen TV in the master and the twin room, as well. We also have wireless high-speed internet if you just have to stay connected. the owners have graciously provided family games and a selection of beach reads. The home also features hardwood floors, tons of space, and an updated ground-level deck adorned with a hanging bed, picnic table, and built-in grilling area with lots of counter space. No matter where you are in the home you're sure to have plenty of space to unwind and relax.
The community boasts its own neighborhood Junior Olympic Pool (typically available mid April to mid October), and fishing/crabbing dock (no boats please but kayaks welcome), and it is only a short walk away from the beach. Our cottage is centrally located within Inlet Cove between the community pool and the beach. A leisurely trail also connects our neighborhood to the General Store and Freshfields Village! If golf and tennis are your passions, you’ve come to the perfect vacation spot – Kiawah has 5 championship golf courses. The famous Ocean Course was host to the 1991 Ryder Cup, the 2007 Senior PGA Championship, and the 2012/2021 PGA Championship.. Kiawah has also been ranked as the #1 tennis resort in the world. Both clay and hard courts are available, along with fully stocked pro shops. In addition, Kiawah is home to a lovely spa at The Sanctuary and a wonderful children’s camp (Kamp Kiawah) offering activities and adventures throughout the year. There is something for everyone at Kiawah!
If you’d like to explore off-island, Charleston, with its southern charm, plantations and history, is only 20 miles away. Charleston’s attractions include world-class restaurants, a beautiful historic district, an outstanding aquarium, a Children's Museum, Ft. Sumter, harbor cruises, the WWII-era aircraft carrier USS Yorktown, carriage tours, and much more. The Charleston City Market is a great shopping adventure where you can observe ladies making and selling sweetgrass baskets – the perfect souvenir for your Lowcountry vacation!
When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $210 (amount dependent on length of stay)to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.
