Nestled along the beautiful Russian River, Rocktop Lodge is a one-of-a-kind riverfront retreat featuring more than 4,000 square feet of distinctive interiors, five sleeping spaces, and an extraordinary collection of outdoor amenities.

Main Level – Gather, Relax & Entertain

The main level is the heart of the lodge, featuring expansive living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, and two full bathrooms.

The grand living room is designed for gathering, with an oversized sectional, a built-in bar, poker table, and 60-inch TV. Just steps away, the adjoining parlor offers a more intimate setting to curl up with a book, enjoy conversation, or unwind in front of the 54-inch TV.

The spacious kitchen is equipped for everything from leisurely breakfasts to memorable group dinners, featuring a professional-grade double refrigerator, two ovens, and a gas range. There's even a milkshake maker for a little nostalgic summer fun!

In the formal dining room, a beautiful hardwood table seats eight, surrounded by vintage wood paneling and custom built-in cabinetry that evoke the elegance and character of a classic mountain lodge.

Main Level Bedrooms

The Muir Suite – King Retreat

Named in the spirit of the region's majestic redwoods, the Muir Suite offers a peaceful and inviting retreat. Featuring a comfortable king bed, 42-inch TV, and private en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, this beautifully appointed bedroom is designed for rest and relaxation.

The Vineyard Suite – Riverside Queen

Enjoy scenic views of the Russian River from the Vineyard Suite, a charming retreat featuring a queen bed, 42-inch TV, and private en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Both main-level suites offer the added comfort and privacy of their own bathrooms, making them ideal for couples or guests traveling together.

Lower Level – The Hacienda Suite & River Suite

One level below the main living areas, two additional sleeping spaces offer comfort, character, and beautiful views of the Russian River.

The Hacienda Suite – Primary King Retreat

The expansive Hacienda Suite offers a peaceful escape with a plush king bed, a daybed with a pull-out trundle, and beautiful views overlooking the Russian River.

A beautifully appointed bathroom features heated floors, dual vanities, and a spacious walk-in shower. This bathroom is shared with the adjoining River Suite, creating a convenient arrangement for families or groups traveling together.

The River Suite – Riverside Queen

Located just beyond the shared bathroom, the River Suite offers a cozy and inviting retreat featuring a comfortable queen bed and 42-inch TV.

Connected to the Hacienda Suite through the shared bathroom, this bedroom is especially well-suited for families or guests who appreciate having adjoining sleeping spaces.

Best of all, the lower level offers direct access to The River Reset, Rocktop Lodge's private outdoor spa and wellness retreat, where guests can enjoy the eight-person barrel sauna, refreshing plunge bucket, and luxurious outdoor rainfall shower just steps away.

Lowest Level – Guest Conveniences

The lowest level includes an additional half bathroom and laundry facilities for guest convenience.

The Pool Cabana – Your Fifth Sleeping Space

Tucked beside the pool, the charming Pool Cabana offers a fifth sleeping space and a cozy retreat separate from the main lodge.

Featuring a comfortable queen bed, a private half bathroom, and its own outdoor shower, the Pool Cabana combines rustic charm with poolside convenience.

Just steps from the water and surrounded by Rocktop's beautiful outdoor setting, it's an inviting hideaway for guests who appreciate a little extra privacy.

The River Reset – Your Private Spa & Wellness Retreat

Welcome to The River Reset, Rocktop Lodge's newest outdoor experience, thoughtfully designed to bring the relaxation and rejuvenation of a boutique wellness resort right to your doorstep.

At the heart of The River Reset is a beautiful eight-person barrel sauna, offering a warm, inviting space to unwind after a day exploring the Russian River Valley.

For those who enjoy the invigorating contrast of hot and cold, a 20-liter cold plunge bucket provides a refreshing cooldown after your sauna session.

The experience continues with an oversized, private outdoor shower featuring a luxurious rainfall showerhead, offering a refreshing, spa-like experience surrounded by nature. Whether you're cooling down after the sauna or enjoying a relaxing open-air shower, it's another special touch that makes The River Reset truly unique.

The River Reset also includes a convenient private restroom with a toilet and sink, allowing guests to enjoy the wellness area without returning to the main lodge.

The WET Deck – Poolside Paradise

Welcome to the WET Deck, Rocktop's private pool deck and the centerpiece of summer fun.

Spend your afternoons swimming in the private pool, lounging in the sunshine, or relaxing in the hot tub, surrounded by the peaceful natural setting of the Russian River.

One of the WET Deck's most distinctive features is its one-of-a-kind outdoor shower, creatively built into an actual canoe! This playful, custom-designed feature brings a touch of river-inspired personality to the pool area and is just one of the many unexpected details that make Rocktop Lodge so special.

Whether you're cooling off after a swim, soaking in the hot tub, or simply enjoying a lazy afternoon poolside, the WET Deck is made for carefree vacation days.

Private Russian River Access & Water Adventures

One of Rocktop Lodge's most special features is its direct access to the beautiful Russian River, complete with a private dock.

From May through the end of October, guests can enjoy complimentary use of our kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), conveniently located down by the river, subject to river conditions.

Spend your days paddling along the scenic waterway, exploring the natural beauty of the Russian River Valley, or simply relaxing by the river's edge.

Whether you're seeking adventure or a peaceful afternoon on the water, the river is just steps from your door.

Outdoor Dining, Tiki Hut & Entertaining

Three Unique Outdoor Showers

One of Rocktop Lodge's most distinctive features is its collection of three separate outdoor showers, each offering its own special experience.

Enjoy a luxurious, private rainfall shower at The River Reset, rinse off beneath the custom canoe shower on the WET Deck, or take advantage of the Pool Cabana's convenient outdoor shower.

Each is located in its own area of the property, adding another layer of comfort, character, and outdoor living to your stay.

Welcome to Rocktop Lodge — your own extraordinary corner of the Russian River.

Know Before You Book:

Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Rocktop Lodge is 8 people not including kids under 3 years old. Quiet hours are from 9:00 pm until 7:00 am. No outdoor amplified sound that can be heard from anywhere outside the grounds at any time. No parties or events.

Parking: There is parking for a maximum of 8 vehicles. Vehicles may not pull through the fence closest to the house, but guests are provided access to the person-sized gate. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.

Road Noise: Rocktop Lodge is located directly next to and above the Hacienda Bridge and River Rd. River Rd. is the main road along the Russian River, so be prepared for road noise, Traffic dies down at night.

Pet Policy: No Pets (homeowner is highly allergic).

Bed Sizes/Bathrooms: Hacienda Suite (middle level): King bed, Twin Day Bed with Twin Trundle, large shared bathroom with walk-in shower. Muir Suite: King Bed (top level), next to hallway bathroom with shower. Vineyard Suite: Queen Bed (top level), en suite bath with shower. Spa Suite: Queen Bed (bottom level), shared bath with shower.Pool Cabana, pool house next to pool: Queen Bed, en suite half bath. Additional half bath located on the third (lowest) level.

Heat Source: Fireplaces are non-operational. The house has central gas heat, plus a gas wall heater in the second floor with the primary bedroom. The pool house has an electric space heater.

Cooling: Ceiling fans in upstairs bedroom as well in primary bedroom on second level. No Air Conditioning.

Pool Heat: The pool is heated Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Hot Tub: If you've stayed at Rocktop Lodge before, you remember the redwood hot tub. There is a new, lovely, fiberglass hot tub closer to the front door and outdoor dining area. We think you'll love it! Photos coming soon.

EV Charger: Located in driveway.

Security: There are 5 exterior security cameras for guest and home safety, at access points to the property.
Front Gate: Over the entrance gate.
Front Yard: Captures front door entrance.
Storage Area: Captures the entrance gate and the gate to the ping pong zone.
Poolside: Over the door to the pool from the kitchen. It is on the walkway only and does not show any of the pool area.
Riverside: Captures the dock/river.

Stairs: The main living space and two bedrooms/bathrooms are on the top (ground) level. The house has three levels, and is situated on a riverbank so steps and areas outdoors may be uneven. There are several flights of steep stairs to from the house to the river dock, which may not be suitable for everyone.

Proximity to wineries: Excellent wine country location! Located at the Forestville side of Westside Rd, a main winery tour route.
