🍇 A Working Vineyard You Actually Get to Stay At

This is the part that makes Ross Ranch different from almost every other wine country rental: it's a working vineyard and ranch, actively farmed, not a property that happens to have a nice view of someone else's vines. The estate produces its own Cabernet, and private tastings of it can be arranged right on the property for your group, paired, if you'd like, with a farm to table chef's dinner cooked with vegetables and herbs pulled from the ranch's own garden.

Beyond the vines, it's a real working ranch: horses and cows graze the pasture, chickens and peacocks roam freely, and gathering the morning's fresh eggs has become one of the details past guests mention most. Kids and adults alike end up spending as much time with the animals and the garden as they do at the pool.

Because it's a working ranch, you'll see it in action during your stay: ranch employees come and go to care for the animals, tend the vines, and look after the grounds, and the owners may also be out working on the property.

Ross Ranch & Vineyards spans two distinct houses plus a vintage Airstream across a working ranch and vineyard property, giving your group full run of seven bedrooms and five bathrooms without ever feeling like you're sharing a hallway with strangers. Each house has its own fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining areas, and dedicated laundry.

Casa One sleeps in a Queen primary suite plus two additional bedrooms (a Full and a Queen). Casa Two offers a King primary suite plus two additional Queen bedrooms. The Airstream adds a seventh bedroom with a double bed, a fun, private spot for two, with its own electricity, a fridge, a small dining table with a bench, and a sink. It doesn't have its own bathroom or kitchen hookup, so those two guests will use one of the five bathrooms in the main houses. Between the two houses and the Airstream, you've got flexible sleeping for families, couples, and larger groups traveling together without compromise.

Outside is where the property really sets itself apart. The vines are actively farmed, and the ranch's own estate Cabernet can be poured for your group at a private tasting arranged right here, not at a tasting room down the road. The garden supplies vegetables and herbs for a farm to table chef's dinner if you'd like one, and the resident animals (horses, cows, chickens, peacocks) are part of daily life on the property, not decoration. Then there's the resort side of things: a pool right next to the event barn for group time (heating available for an additional fee), a second, more secluded pool at Casa Two built from a repurposed shipping container with sweeping vineyard and hillside views, a brand new pickleball court, and a fully equipped standalone gym (two Peloton bikes, free weights, rowing machine, smart TV).

This is a working vineyard and ranch with resident animals and active farming. Ranch employees come and go to care for the animals and tend the vines, and the owners may also be around working on the ranch. Please treat the grounds, vines, and animals with respect and keep young guests supervised around the pasture.
The Airstream has electricity, a fridge, a small dining table with a bench, and a sink, but no private bathroom or kitchen. Guests staying there will use one of the five bathrooms and either kitchen in the main houses.

Early check ins and late check outs are subject to availability, must be approved in writing in advance, and are charged at 50% of the nightly rate.

Guest Check In Form: After booking you will receive a link to our Guest App. Before arrival, the main guest completes a short check in form with their full name, email, phone, date of birth, a photo of a government ID (passport, ID card or driver's license), and an electronic signature on our rental agreement. Check in instructions and access details are sent only once the form is complete.
