Santa Barbara-Style Desert Retreat

We loved this beautiful house so much that we extended our stay for one more precious day. The space is well layed out so that everyone had privacy and their own bathroom, but the shared space like pool area and kitchen and living room are just as tastefully done. We loved the soaring ceilings, the solid, heavy stained wood doors, the games, the game room, the little touches like little candies left for us bedside and in our closets as little surprises. We also liked that there are washer/dryer upstairs and down for convenience. The proximity of this place to town is what makes it such a gem. It is a two minute walk to Old Town La Quinta. We would definitely come back.

We loved our stay with Amanda! Very clean, truly en-suite bathrooms with each bedroom, and great common areas. They also had some refreshments stocked in the fridge which was a nice touch! I think we were slightly surprised by how small the outside area was and that right next to the home was an empty lot - if you're looking for a quiet trip and aren't planning to spend a lot of time in proper Palm Springs, this is the right place!

Amanda's place is by far the nicest Air BnB I have stayed at for so many reasons. The home is brand new, well-appointed with so many fun activities. It was like our own private resort with the pool/spa, firepit, basketball court and playroom to include poker, shuffleboard, pool and an arcade game. The location is one of a kind with picturesque mountain views and the way it backs right up to Old Town La Quinta. With all the dining and shopping options we did not need to drive anywhere. We were also within walking distance of some of the most unique hiking trails and pickle ball courts. This house is a rare find and absolute gem!
