SeaHorse Bungalow

From the Historic SeaHorse Bungalow to Pass-a-Grille Beach is a one-minute walk. This is my biggest Bungalow, the one for families, and the only one with its own private patio.

These Bungalows have won Traveler's Review Awards three years running, 2024, 2025, and 2026.

I grew up in this home. It has been in my family since the early 1980s, and the SeaHorse is the heart of the property.

THE BUNGALOW
Two real bedrooms, a king and a queen, plus a sofa bed in the living room, so six can sleep without anyone drawing straws. Full kitchen, a dining area that seats six, a washer and dryer, and a full bath with a tub. Beds are made with the good linens.

THE PRIVATE PATIO
The gated back deck with the blue table is yours alone, grill included. The gate closes, so your dog can join you out there. Dogs are welcome for $100 per pet. There is also a communal front pavilion shared by all four Bungalows, with more seating and a grill.

OUTSIDE
Beach chairs and gear are included, and there is an outdoor shower for sandy feet. One free parking spot is included, and honestly, you will barely use the car.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Pass-a-Grille is 31 blocks long and walkable end to end. Dinner and shops are on 8th Avenue, the sunset piano is at Paradise Grille, the bay is a one-minute walk if you want to fish or watch for manatees, and the dog beach is 5 to 10 minutes on foot. The Don CeSar is about ten blocks up the beach.
