Sky Nest is a locally designed and sourced green built home on the Hondo Mesa. Sky Nest offers an unparallelled natural setting to let you ground and connect in peace and privacy watching the clouds roll from the mountains out across the expanse of sage and juniper high desert lands, toward the rocky gashes leading down to the Rio Grande deep within its gorge. The living space is elevated above ground level to sit in the view. This home has one bedroom and one bathroom, a simple well-stocked kitchen for all your home cooking needs. The home is built on stilts and sits at 7,000 feet elevation with room for 1-4 guests.

Large picture windows perfectly frame 360 degree mountain views and flood the main room with warm light. Simple and elegant functional design makes this home relaxing and easy to operate. The living room includes a comfy sectional couch that contains a full-size sleeper sofa.
Kitchen amenities: Induction 2-burner stove, extra large toaster oven for baking. Microwave, coffee maker, and blender. Easy 2-stool breakfast bar is a great place to catch up on email before getting the day's adventure going or enjoy a sit-down dinner at the dining table. Bluetooth speaker provided to amplify your favorite tunes.
The Queen bedroom is at the back of the home with optional privacy provided by a large natural wood barn door. A private bathroom with steam shower with window provides total private relaxation.
Enjoy time on the deck in every season watching the landscape, birds and butterflies out across the vista. An outdoor grill, dining table, string lights and and the stars above let you enjoy a little outdoor living space in addition to the interior of the home.
