Our leadership team recently hosted a retreat at Sonoma Stonehouse Hotel, and the experience was truly wonderful from start to finish. Coordinating accommodations and logistics for a group of 11 people can be stressful, but the hotel made everything feel seamless, welcoming, and thoughtfully organized. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly tucked into Sonoma wine country — the ideal environment for both collaboration and rest. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and gave everyone their own relaxing space to unwind after a full day of meetings and team activities. What stood out most was the hospitality and attentiveness from the management team. Communication was smooth, check-in instructions were clear, and every detail made our group feel genuinely cared for. The atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and elevated without being overwhelming, which created such a meaningful setting for leadership bonding and connection. Our team especially appreciated the quiet surroundings

July 2026

Our group of 18 had a family reunion here. We rented the entire place to have access to the kitchen. The kitchen was spacious with a giant fridge but no freezer. We kept ice on trays in the fridge because it was melting. There was a great bar area that we enjoyed gathering around and a big living area as well as an outdoor space with chairs and small tables. Everyone had their own bedroom with comfortable beds and a private bathroom. The bathrooms could’ve been cleaner as well as the floors. We had a few issues like not being able to enter certain rooms (support was responsive and fixed right away), air-conditioning not working (responded, saying someone would fix the AC but never did so luckily there was a spare room to use) and my aunt was locked in her bathroom with a broken door handle which was serviced the next day. The location was good for excursions including wine tours the Redwoods, Bodega Bay and the local Charles Schultz Museum.

This place is a fantastic find. We booked the hotel for a 5 days for our gathering and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was. It’s a five minute drive from some great shopping and dining. Very easy access to Sonoma wineries. Would definitely stay again!
