Most Nashville short-term rentals are downtown condos. Space Cowboy is a single-story ranch house with a fenced backyard, a working firepit, and a front porch wide enough to actually sit on. It is the kind of place where the outdoor space is the reason you booked, not an afterthought.
The Outdoor Space
The fenced backyard has a firepit with seating, and the yard is large enough for kids to run around in without going near the street. The front porch looks out onto a quiet residential neighborhood and is set up for morning coffee or evening drinks. Neither requires a trip to a bar or a walk to a park.
Sleep Layout - Sleeps 6
Primary suite: King bed, walk-in closet with hangers, en-suite bathroom, Western-themed decor
Guest room: Queen-over-queen bunk bed, full bathroom directly across the hall, large vanity mirror, closet with extra storage
The bunk room is a full double-decker setup with a proper queen mattress on each level. It works well for adults traveling together as much as it does for families with kids.
Inside the House
Single-story throughout, which means no stairs to navigate and easy access to every room. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and a complete set of cookware, with a coffee bar stocked with a drip machine and starter supplies. Smart TV in the living room for streaming. In-unit washer and dryer with detergent provided.
The Space Cowboy theme runs through both bedrooms and the common areas - Western details and curated decor that give the house a distinct character without being overdone. Guests consistently mention the atmosphere as one of the highlights of their stay.
Location
Space Cowboy is in Southeast Nashville, which puts you closer to Geodis Park, the Nashville Zoo, Percy Priest Lake, and the airport than any downtown property can offer. Eight minutes to Geodis Park for Nashville SC matches and events. Ten minutes to Nashville International Airport. Ten minutes to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. Twelve minutes to Percy Priest Lake for boating, hiking, and water access. Fourteen minutes by Uber to Broadway, the Ryman, and the Gulch. Easy on-ramp access to I-24 and I-440 for day trips in any direction.
The neighborhood is quiet and residential, which is the point. You are not paying a premium to be within walking distance of honky-tonks. You are getting a real house with a real yard and a short Uber ride to everything Nashville is known for.
Getting Around
Uber and Lyft are available within five minutes around the clock. Free private driveway parking is included for guests arriving by car.
