Fontana Lake Seasonal Water Levels

• Fontana Lake offers year-round lake access; however, lake levels are seasonally lowered beginning around the end of September and typically remain lower through April.
• Water levels and the timing of the drawdown vary based on weather and lake management conditions. Water may remain beneath the dock for a period of time as levels lower. At lower winter levels, the dock may eventually rest on dry land.
• When water is no longer beneath the dock, guests may walk down to the lake or use Prince Boat Dock, located approximately 0.5 miles from the home, for seasonal boating and lake access.
• Fontana Lake remains popular for winter fishing even during lower-water periods.
• Guests interested in current lake levels should review the Tennessee Valley Authority's Fontana Lake level information before their stay.

Boat & Dock Information

• Guests are welcome to bring or rent a boat
• The owner's boat remains at the property full-time
• An additional docking area is available for a guest boat
• A dock ladder can be folded onto the deck to accommodate an additional boat
• Guest boats may remain tied to the dock overnight and throughout the stay
• During periods of low winter water levels, boats may need to be beached
• Boat trailers cannot be parked at the property
• There is no space to turn around or store a boat trailer at Sunrise Cove
• Boat trailers should remain at the launch location

Check-In / Check-Out
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We're happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can't be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Quiet Policy
This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren't permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10pm.

Extended Stays
Reservations of 30+ days are subject to additional review. Stays exceeding 90 days require a separate agreement. A security deposit, mid stay cleaning fees and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.

Payments
If booked more than 14 days before arrival, 50% is due at booking and the remaining balance is due 14 days before check-in. If booked 14 days or fewer before arrival, full payment is due at booking.

Military Discount

Last-Minute Bookings
For reservations made within 7 days of arrival, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests.
