Tettegouche Tiny House

We had a wonderful stay at this tiny home for our wedding anniversary getaway! It was conveniently located near so many amazing outdoor sights and things to do, while still feeling private and cozy. Being able to bring our dogs along was an added bonus! We loved enjoying the view of the lake from the deck and waking up surrounded by all the beautiful pines. As noted in other reviews, you can hear the nearby highway in the distance, but it didn’t bother us at all. The only things we’d suggest improving or adding to the cabin would be some additional grip on the steps, as they were a little steep and slippery in socks and for our older pup, and a lamp or moodier lighting in the loft area. These are both very minor suggestions that didn’t affect our stay, but would be nice enhancements to an already wonderful cabin! We absolutely loved our weekend here and would definitely stay again!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the superior tiny house! It was a beautiful location, and was close to lots of sightseeing! The space itself was exactly what we needed for two people and had just the right amenities. The back deck was the perfect addition and place to hang out at the end of the night! If I had to give any critiques, it would just be that the ring camera on the side of the house was right outside a window, which made me a little nervous since that was the only space to really change in the house. I just closed the blinds which was fine. I also noticed in the book when we got there it talked about $100 pet cleaning fee, which I had not found anywhere else on the Airbnb site although I may have missed it. Thankfully, we decided to leave our dog home but that would’ve been a bummer to show up and find that out after it was too late. I still definitely give this place 5/5 stars! It was an absolutely perfect getaway for us.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Pros: Really clean space and clean kitchen utensils / cookware! Plenty of towels, toilet paper and paper towels to use. Coffee and coffee pot to use! Bed had a great view and was comfortable. Nice fire pit and deck. Great location. Cons: There is a decent amount of road noise when you’re on the deck. It seems crazy that you have to pay for firewood given the price of this place. The fire pit area could use more light at night.
