★ About Just Happy Homes ★
The Acadia Gathering House is part of 𖠿 Just Happy Homes 𖠿, a small collection of privately owned vacation homes created for families, friends, and guests who want a beautiful place to gather without the stress of wondering whether the home will live up to the photos.
Just Happy Homes is run by Brian and Jane, who stay directly involved with each property to make sure every home is thoughtfully prepared, well-maintained, and ready for guests to settle in with confidence.
Our goal is simple: help you feel secure when you book, cared for when you arrive, and happy with your decision to choose our home.
We think about the details that make travel easier: comfortable beds, stocked kitchens, clear instructions, kid-friendly supplies, responsive communication, and spaces that help people gather naturally. Because a great vacation home should not just look good in photos. It should actually work beautifully for the people staying there.
★ The Home ★
The Acadia Gathering House was designed for the kind of coastal Maine trip people look forward to all year: summer adventures in Acadia, lobster dinners, coffee with water views, kids playing downstairs, adults relaxing on the deck, hot tub nights, and easy time together with the people you love.
The home has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, with multiple spaces for gathering, relaxing, and spreading out. It works well for large families, multi-generational trips, multi-family vacations, friend getaways, and guests who want a stylish, comfortable home base near Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.
The layout gives everyone room to be together without feeling crowded.
Please note that the wood stove in the living room is for decorative purposes only. It is not serviced for use and any attempt to use would pose a safety concern. Do not tamper with it! *
We are directly across a small private road from the Union Bay coast without direct water access in the neighborhood. Enjoy the crisp ocean air and views from our oversized deck!
