Special Update – Lake Lure Reopening
Lake Lure is officially open following Hurricane Helene, and normal lake use has resumed! Previous lakewide no-wake restrictions have been lifted, so guests can once again enjoy boating and time on the water while continuing to follow all posted no-wake zones, boating guidelines, and local lake rules.

Chimney Rock businesses are also open and ready to welcome visitors back. This is a wonderful time to return to the area, enjoy the lake, explore Chimney Rock, and support the local businesses and communities that make this region so special. Please note that public docks remain closed at this time. Guests who would like to get out on the water can rent boats through Yonder, with delivery available for lakefront homes or pickup available at the southernmost point of the lake.

Outside, enjoy the simple moments: gather around the wood-burning fire pit, watch the stars come out, and settle into the slower pace that makes mountain-lake vacations feel special.

  To access resort amenities, a guest pass is required and must be requested through Yonder at least 72 hours in advance, as processing times are determined by the resort. Last-minute requests cannot be guaranteed.

When you're ready to explore beyond the resort, you're close to Chimney Rock for scenic hikes and local favorites. After a day outside, head back toward the water for dinner—Lake Lure has several locally owned restaurants right on the lake, perfect for an easy meal with a view.

For guest safety, The Ginger Fox has exterior security cameras monitoring the driveway and garage area. No cameras are located inside the home.

Cleaning Fee & Clean Guarantee

Check-In / Check-Out
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We're happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can't be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Pet Policy
Dog-friendly home! Up to two dogs are welcome with a $130 non-refundable pet fee.

Extended Stays
Reservations of 30+ days are subject to additional review. Stays exceeding 90 days require a separate agreement. A security deposit, mid stay cleaning fees and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.

Cancellation
More than 31 days before arrival = full refund (minus travel insurance premium if purchased).
14–31 days before arrival = initial payment is forfeited.
Within 14 days of arrival (or early departure/shortened stay) = all rent payments are forfeited, with cleaning fees and applicable taxes refunded as required.

Military Discount
We proudly offer a 5% discount to active duty military members and veterans. Proper documentation is required. Reach out to our Guest Experience Team for details.

Last-Minute Bookings
For reservations made within 7 days of arrival, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests.
This includes:

• A clear photo of a government-issued ID
• A full facial selfie of the primary guest holding that ID (must match the reservation name)
• A photo showing the last 4 digits of the payment method in the primary guest's name
  Subject to security screening for verification and authenticity. Failure to complete verification may result in cancellation.
