Welcome to the Heart of Sonoma Plaza, a stylish and clean Victorian that has been planned for a fun, comfortable stay that reflects Sonoma's historical roots. Modern handmade furniture in cherry wood, leather, and other noble materials, crisp linens on top of the fine mattresses, central air conditioning and heat, modern copper plumbing throughout the home, a tranquil rear garden with a table for open air dining, even chefs have told us they love our small but well appointed kitchen, and the all American front porch is a great place to relax with a glass of wine or lemonade. All of this is just two blocks from the central Sonoma Plaza with its abundance of wine, dining, museums, and fun! Should you desire to relax even further, there are various spa opportunities nearby, if you need some space from your group to get some work done, there is a very nice coworking lounge just steps away. We are also a half step from General Vallejo's home and the walking / hiking / running paths that lead through town and up into the hills in the park. On the 4th of July, this is the heart of the celebration, with fireworks practically outside your door.
There are many sleeping options: two upstairs bedrooms with queen beds and blackout curtains, a bunk room with the same top of the line mattresses and blackout curtains a half a floor below, and what we have been told is a very comfortable American Leather sleeper sofa in the living room. There is laundry for guest use in the garage (parking is on the driveway).
As your hosts we strive to make sure every detail is picture perfect, and we are there to help should you need anything before, during, or after your stay.
Many guests are happy just parking their cars and walking their entire stay, while others use their cars to explore the larger Sonoma Valley and surrounding areas. We are sure every guest will make their own unique adventure in unforgettable, effervescent Sonoma!
