Private Guadalupe River access is just across River Road at Fernweh Riverfront. Along with the cottages’ private amenities, guests also enjoy access to a shared on-site pool and pickleball court, as well as private riverfront access located just across the street at our sister property.

Fernweh Hillside is a brand new upscale, relaxed, family-friendly cottage resort along River Road in New Braunfels, Texas. Located between 2nd and 3rd Crossing, this resort-like experience offers a new experience for the long-time Guadalupe tubers - come check out the best that River Road has to offer!! Come enjoy our amenities including a pool with hot tub inset, central fire pit, pickleball/basketball court, covered pavilion, and a dog park!

Our sister property, which all guests have access to, has private riverfront access with partnered tube trips daily during the high season. Perfect location for fishing during the low season. Enjoy everything that River Road has to offer!

All of the units are numbered, and the driveway loops - parking is available next to or near all units. A property map is included in the listing to guide you to Units 1, 2, and 8. Unit 1 has 4 parking spaces. Unit 2 has 2 parking spaces, and Unit 8 has 1 parking space.

7 parking spaces are available for these cottages. Parking is very limited and most weekends in the summer, we are not able to accommodate additional vehicles. We do have a partnership with a neighbor to park extra vehicles for an additional fee, but availability is also limited and not guaranteed.

WiFi is available onsite, but is not guaranteed due to our remote location - prepare for a potentially unplugged adventure.

DoorDash, UberEats, Target, H-E-B, Favor, Instacart - all deliver to the property if you need something - just be sure to provide your driver with clear directions and note that cell service is non-existent on River Road.
