Wake up steps from the Intracoastal Waterway and spend your days exactly how a Florida coastal vacation should feel — paddling out on a kayak, cruising the neighborhood on a golf cart, grilling fresh catch in the fenced backyard, and ending the night around a gas fire pit with the people you love.
The Salty Anchor is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home built for families, boaters, and anyone who wants real beach-town living without the resort price tag. There's room for up to 6 guests (plus 2 more on the living room trundle), a fully stocked kitchen, and enough outdoor space to make the backyard the favorite room in the house.
Vilano Beach is a half-mile away. Historic downtown St. Augustine is a 10-minute drive. And when you don't want to drive at all, the golf cart gets you to the beach, the water, and three nearby restaurants without ever touching your car keys.
The Space
Three comfortable bedrooms sleep up to 6:
Both bathrooms are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Fresh linens and towels are provided for every guest.
The kitchen is fully equipped — Keurig with single-cup and full-pot brew options, rice cooker, slow cooker, blender, Instant Pot, and everything you need to cook a real meal. Coffee, cream, and sugar are stocked on arrival.
Outside
This is where the house really shines. The fenced backyard has a Weber gas grill, a charcoal grill, a hammock, lounge chairs, and a gas fire pit with outdoor dining. It's a private, easy space — whether you're doing a big family cookout or just unwinding after a beach day.
Kayaks and paddleboards are available for guests. The golf cart is available to rent at $40/day with advance notice — it's perfect for beach runs, exploring the neighborhood, or grabbing dinner at one of the three restaurants within golf cart distance.
We have parking for up to five vehicles, including boats and RVs up to 55 feet, with direct access to a nearby boat ramp.
