About the property

A restored 1935 pueblo-style home in Tucson's historic Sam Hughes neighborhood, layered with vintage and antique furnishings throughout — two bedrooms built for a quiet stay just minutes from the University of Arizona.

  • Designer-Curated Vintage & Antique Interior
  • Private Pool Shaded by Desert Trees
  • Award-Winning Restored 1935 Home
  • Rare Three-Car Garage
  • Walkable to Cafés, Shops & 4th Avenue

A house with real history, set in a neighborhood worth walking through slowly.

ARRIVAL & FIRST IMPRESSIONS
This award-winning restored pueblo-style home opens into sunlit, thoughtfully curated rooms where vintage and antique furnishings create a warmth that feels collected rather than decorated. A remote-controlled gas fireplace and layered décor accents carry that same considered quality throughout.

THE LIVING SPACES
The living spaces are designed for genuine ease — high-quality beds, luxury linens, and a quiet attention to detail in every corner. The original 1935 hardwood floors carry some natural creaking, a detail guests tend to find part of the home's character rather than a flaw.

THE SUITES
The home offers two bedrooms:

Primary Suite: King bed, attached bathroom with a deep soaking tub
Second Bedroom: Queen bed, desk with fast Wi-Fi, doubles comfortably as a workspace

The primary suite's soaking tub is a genuine highlight — a quiet place to land after a day exploring the desert.

YOUR PRIVATE GROUNDS
A private pool sits beneath a natural canopy of desert trees, offering shaded mornings and cool evenings even in Tucson's warmer months. Patios extend the living space outdoors for sunbathing, grilling, or a quiet dinner under the stars, and the rare three-car garage — a genuine rarity in Sam Hughes — offers secure, convenient parking off the back alley.

THE SURROUNDING AREA
Saguaro National Park and Sabino Canyon are both close by for hiking and scenic drives, and Catalina Highway leads up to Mount Lemmon for alpine views above the desert floor. Sweetwater Preserve and The Loop offer easy walking and biking close to home, and horseback riding is available at the historic Tanque Verde and White Stallion ranches nearby. As the first UNESCO City of Gastronomy in the U.S., Tucson's food scene runs deep — El Charro Café and El Güero Canelo serve some of the city's most storied Mexican fare, while La Frida Mexican Grill, Guadalajara Mexican Grill, and Amelias Mexican Kitchen round out a neighborhood full of strong local options. The University of Arizona is just two minutes away, with downtown Tucson and the 4th Avenue district close by for shops, galleries, and museums, and the Tucson Gem Show draws visitors from around the world each winter.
