Most of Big Bear is easier to get around with your own vehicle. Ride share options and availability are extremely limited. There is a public transport company, Mountain transit. They offer free shuttles daily. Please refer to their website for schedule and routes.

Occupancy (13 guests regardless of age) and car limit (4) are set by the city. They will enforce these. If found to have more than we are licensed for, you may be evicted with no refund. Please adhere to these limitations.

Upon Check Out:
Wash dishes (load washer and press START)
Pick up yard of trash, cigarette butts, pet waste
Leave used beds unmade
All used towels can be piled in bathroom

Do not turn off heater in winter months
All trash must fit in the bins, no exception. Drop off is required if the lid does not close. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

Keypad code- Online check in will be required with identification per our license with City of Big Bear. Code is sent on day of check in once the home is ready or at 4pm, whichever comes first.

Animals- We only allow a maximum of two trained dogs with non refundable pet fee. No other types of animals are allowed no exceptions. If bringing a service animal please provide the appropriate information and let us know they will be joining upon booking. Pet fee does not cover damage or extra cleaning required due to negligence.

Cleaning Fee- nonnegotiable. This covers clean linens, cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, floors, basic balancing of spa chemicals, and basic care of the home. This does not cover left trash, excessive messes, cleaning dirty dishes. The home has deeper clean items that happen 2-3x a year.

Early check in- No guarantees will be made. We send the code when the home is ready or at 4pm, whichever comes first. Do not show up to the home until given the code. This rushes the cleaners and tends to ensure something is missed.

Late check out- No guarantees. This is based entirely on the cleaning team’s route. It is only granted night before checking out. If you’d like to guarantee checking out later, book another night. This allows you to stay a whole night or leave at any point during your reservation time. Please note, we do charge if you delay the cleaning teams by not vacating the entire property, not just the home. The cleaners will not knock to let you know they are there. Please be respectful of their time and any guest checking into the home after you.

Snow Removal- We have a snowplow on call during winter. Please be patient as they are on their own route. Our plows come out after a storm when 4+ inches fall. We do our best to shovel the entry to the home. Decks are not guaranteed to be shoveled. Shovel and a small bucket of salt is provided in the home for your convenience.

The home does have 2 cameras on at all times. They are checked periodically to ensure occupancy and car limits are adhered to. The cameras view all access points of the property.

No refund will be made for cancellation due to weather, road conditions, acts of nature, mechanical failures, electrical failures or malfunctions with spas, TVs or other equipment, or for sighting of insects, rodents, or other animals. No refunds will be made for circumstances beyond the Homeowner’s control. Rescheduling is allowed if all roads have been closed into the area for 24 hours. Chains are often required and should be always carried. They may be needed to get in or out of Big Bear or your rental. If you are uncomfortable with snow, we highly suggest trip insurance.
