The mountainside is home to a variety of amazing creatures. It is incredible for those who love to nature-watch from afar, but may not be for everyone. Use caution and do not touch wildlife. Avoid leaving food outside (including residue in grills or fires), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed.

There have also been sightings of hazardous flora, like poison ivy in the surrounding area of the property, so kindly stay in the manicured areas and monitor all children.

While the home is multi-level, there are a few bedrooms that can be accessed at the entry level. Do note that this home does not have an elevator and contains features that may be difficult for the elderly and guests with mobility challenges.

This home follows a strict maximum occupancy rule. Please make sure that the total number of guests accompanying you (including both children and adults) doesn’t exceed the indicated maximum occupancy above to avoid cancellation of your stay and additional fees.

Listing guests in a separate NC short-term rental agreement is required before check-in.

This is a pet-free hypoallergenic space. No pets are allowed inside the home to maintain a hypoallergenic area as much as possible for our guests’ comfort.
