A car is required to explore the High Desert; the property is accessed via dirt roads that are typically navigable for most vehicles when driven carefully. Please note that you will need to travel on dirt roads for a portion of the drive to the home. After rains, there may be more ruts than usual on the dirt roads but you should not need a 4x4 vehicle to get to the home. Please reach out with any questions! POOL AND HOT TUB HEATING: - Your rental includes heating for the in-ground pool from May-September. - The hot tub is always free to heat. - However, during the cooler months, there are extra charges for pool heating. - If you want the pool heated during these months, please let us know before you arrive. Extra Charges for Pool Heating: October and April: $200 per night November, December, March: $300 per night January and February: $300 per night No jumping, diving, running or rough play near the pool and hot tub area. No glass can be around the pool and hot tub, there are plastic cups in the kitchen to be used outside. Please mind the quiet hours (no loud noises after 10pm). No intoxicated persons may use the pool or hot tub. NO LIFEGUARD WILL BE ON DUTY - YOU SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. • EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Are not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit and additional fees. • DOGS: Your dog is welcome and there is a one time fee of $100. Please alert us in advance. Max of 2 dogs. No other types of animals are authorized. • SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us! • CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown.
