Wander Blue Ridge Oaks

There is inconsistent cell coverage in the area depending on your provider. We recommend taking note of the WiFi password and access code beforehand, which is available on the “Trips” tab in the Wander app. Cell network strength can vary by topology, time of day, weather, and whether you’re located inside or outside of a vehicle or house.

Please be aware that wildlife populations including black bears are high in the area (particularly March-October), and we kindly remind families to keep a close eye on children, avoid leaving food outside (including residue in the grill and fire), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed.

Fishing is allowed in the community on a catch-and-release basis using non-barbed hooks only. Guests have access to the community creek for fishing near the bridge. The common fishing area is located on both sides of the road along the creek, near the community mailboxes.

Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 9 AM. We kindly ask that you refrain from hosting parties or creating excessive noise during your stay, as we strive to maintain a peaceful environment for both our guests and neighbors. Amplified outdoor sounds are strictly prohibited.

Mobility
This home contains features that may be difficult for mobility-challenged guests, including climbing stairs to navigate the property.

Basic Supplies Limited
This home is stocked with a starter supply of firewood, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, paper towels, and detergent. These items will not be replenished once they run out. Certain kitchen supplies like tin foil, spices, and coffee are not provided.

This home follows a strict maximum occupancy rule. Please make sure that the total number of guests accompanying you (including both children and adults) doesn’t exceed the indicated maximum occupancy above to avoid cancellation of your stay and additional fees.

Hosting parties and events is prohibited in this home.

This is a pet-free hypoallergenic space. No pets are allowed inside the home to maintain a hypoallergenic area as much as possible for our guests’ comfort. A minimum fee of $500 will be charged if a pet is brought into the cabin without Wander's authorization.
