Want to feel as though you're staying in the mountains, but remain local to Texas? This is the spot for you. As you enter the property, you will drive up a hill that winds around a forestry of trees surrounding the property. At the top of the hill, you will be greeted by a modern home towering over the trees to provide an unforgettable view that overlooks rolling hills as far as you can see. It is truly a magical experience offering rest from the daily grind of normal life.
This home has hill country views for miles and is located to some of the best spots in Texas Hill Country.
The home is located:
-5 minutes from the lake
-10 minutes from the Guadalupe River & Whitewater Amphitheater (the closest float is the Horseshoe Loop, a 2.5hr float depending on water levels)
-15 minutes from Wimberley and local breweries/wineries
-20 minutes from San Marcos and the Tanger Outlets
-20-30 minutes from Gruene, New Braunfels, and Schlitterbahn
-30 minutes from Dripping Springs
-1 hour from Fredericksburg
It truly is the perfect spot for a vacation because there is so much to do close by.
The home is furnished with a queen-sized bed in the downstairs bedroom and a queen-sized bed in the loft. The loft also includes a sleeper sofa that can fit 2 people. This allows for a total capacity of 6 guests (4 guests to sleep upstairs and 2 guests downstairs).
In the kitchen, you will find that it is stocked with all the silverware, cutlery, dishes, pots, pans, mixing bowls, cookie sheets, casserole dishes, spices, and cooking oil you'll need to make meals at home.
We also provide a coffee bar stocked with a French press, Keurig, coffee pods (including decaf), a selection of teas, sugar, and creamer.
The loft is furnished with a nice flat-screen Roku TV so you can login to any streaming app during your stay. We do not put TVs in any other rooms as we believe this space is meant to help our guests unplug.
Additional amenities you will find include: a washer and dryer, iron, blow dryer, towels, shampoo/conditioner, and more.
You'll have access to the entire home, other than the shed, as that stays locked for our cleaners.
For those of you looking to do some work during your stay, we offer high speed internet, and our dining table has a great view for you to enjoy during the workday.
Please note that we do not have window coverings installed for any windows except for the downstairs bedroom. If you want extra privacy, we have left portable blackout curtains in the downstairs dresser. They can easily be applied by attaching the provided suction cups to the window you would like covered and sticking the velcro on the curtains to the velcro on the suction cups. The home is located on a private 1 acre lot surrounded by trees so no one is able to look into the home. It is very private.
We do not allow pets in this home and require that you notify the host about any service animals you plan to bring.
Please note that we do not allow check-ins or check-outs on major holidays (NYE & NYD, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day). This is so we can allow our cleaners to have these holidays off with their families.
Please note, there is a high school located across the street from the home which is in your view to the left but most of your view is of the trees and hills. There may be times where you can hear the sports activities while sitting on the deck if sports are in season and occasional road noise if it’s during rush hour times.
Please note, in an effort to maintain a secure premises, the home is equipped with a video doorbell at the front and back entrance. The doorbell cameras are also there to help us communicate with guests who have trouble accessing the property and need to reach us quickly. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside. They cannot see the fire-pit or hot tub for privacy purposes.
Our home is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. We charge a $60 hot tub fee (this is included in your pricing) because we have the hot tub serviced and cleaned after every stay (this fee goes directly to our hot tub cleaning crew). We take pride in how clean our homes are and that includes ensuring the hot tubs have clean and safe water for every guest.
Any items left behind by a guest will be either thrown out, or shipped to the guest at their expense.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions, we would love to help make your stay as special as we can!
