Cape Charles

This is our second visit to the house. It is a gem…clearly a house/property that someone put a lot of love and time into designing and decorating. It does not feel like a rental, more like a visit to your friends’ beach house…if your friends are very stylish architects, designers, and artists! The decor is stunning, an eclectic mix of international and natural artifacts. The bathrooms are also stunning, each one has unique mosaics, stone, and tile. It’s quite exquisite. And you just cannot beat the view of the sunset: through the pine/sweetgum forest over the beach and bay. The beaches in both directions are very walkable, the sand is soft, and the water temperature is warm (80 degrees plus). It was very secluded and quiet, which is exactly what we are seeking in a beach vacation. The wildlife is amazing: bald eagles, osprey, pelicans, bats, Atlantic stingrays, horseshoe crabs, whelks, etc. There are also lots of amenities: a welcome bowl of snacks, beach towels/bkankets, Tesla charger

This home is magnificent! The private beach is wonderful and the sunset view from the deck is perfect. We will be back with friends!

The view of the sunset from the porch is amazing. The house is very close to a natural reserve. The kitchen has everything you could wish for. Having your own private beach is great. The view from the house is priceless
