Cape San Blas

We took a family trip to Wander for a week. Three couples with four kids (9, 8, 3, 1). Pictures matched perfectly, the finishes inside were outstanding and up to date. The kitchen was well stocked with every thing we needed minus a large cooking pot and plastic cups for outside use. The beds were excellent. The location is super quiet, private and isolated - which is what we wanted. Yet, with an easy drive to any supplies - seafood to cook, grocery about 20 minutes, beach supply shop, etc. Was construction happening just down the beach - minor irritation. The pool area is outstanding, with shaded areas, including ping pong, hot tub, grill and turf. Key for kids: it's fenced off, so it keeps the little ones in and out when needed. Stocked beach gear closet was awesome too. Only negatives are super nit-picky: water pressure in showers is poor, sliding door was hard to move for most, no outlets downstairs. Would definitely recommend and return.

Our family’s trip to Cape San Blas over fall break was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The house was literally just 25 steps from the boardwalk to the beach; so close that carrying chairs, beach toys, and snacks was effortless, even with multiple trips back and forth. Each morning and evening brought new magic. We even watched dolphins swim right in front of our house (only 20 meters away), and every single night we were treated to breathtaking sunsets that painted the sky in unbelievable colors. The soft, warm sand and perfect shells; enough to fill a bucket every day, made beachcombing a daily adventure for everyone. The property was everything we hoped for and more: a heated pool and hot tub for cooler nights, and a setting so peaceful that one morning I sat on the beach completely alone, not a single person in sight in either direction. The privacy and seclusion were beyond compare, even the crabs came out during the day, something you’d never see on a busy beach! We also can’t say enough about the responsive concierge team, who answered any question or request within minutes and made the stay seamless from start to finish. Without a doubt, this was the best vacation our family has ever experienced. We fell in love with Cape San Blas and can’t wait to come back again and again.

Loved the location and the spaciousness of the house. Room for everyone and great pool and beach access.
