WOW is the theme of this prominent residence! You'll be wowed by the charm, the interior design, the size, and all of the luxury features! Located on one of DC's best blocks, East Capitol, you can watch the sun set over the Capitol building from your front porch or while lounging in the fenced yard. It's a short walk to any of the Capitol buildings. However, if you prefer to bike, scooter, or drive, garage parking is available and included!
There are three living spaces - one for formal occasions and one for lounging and a carriage house for more privacy. The living rooms, dining room, and kitchen are open to one another. Easily drift from one to the other. Three decorative fireplaces with large, historic mantels and stained glass windows bring the home to life! Built in 1888, it's easy to imagine the historical figures that must have came through the home. If only these walls could talk, they'd have a great story to tell!
The kitchen is adorned with marble countertops and backsplash and beautiful, modern white cabinets with a rolling ladder to access the upper storage. All high-end appliances are included.
There are 3 bedrooms. One with a king bed, one with a full-size bed, and one with two twin beds and a day bed.
Work from home at the desk and comfortable chair that looks onto the carriage house. The carriage house features a king size bed and it's own kitchen.
Please note, there is one additional bedroom that will not be accessible during your residency. Don't worry though, with all the space available in this home, you won't miss it or need it!
