Whether you’re sipping coffee on the porch, stargazing by the firepit, or floating peacefully down the creek, The Bear Snores On is the perfect mountain getaway for relaxation, play, and everything in between.
You’ll be just 15 MINUTES from the Cosby entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, one of the park’s most scenic and less-crowded gateways. From here, you can access beautiful hiking trails, picnic areas, and mountain streams without the hustle of Gatlinburg traffic.

KEY FEATURES:
• Room for everyone: 3 King bedrooms with ensuite baths + a loft with 2 sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds (sleeps up to 10).
• Coffee bar & comfort: Start your mornings with fresh coffee, unwind in bed with your favorite show (every bedroom has a mounted TV), and spread out in style.
• Outdoor living at its best: Covered porch seating, screened-in dining porch, hot tub, grilling station, high-top dining table, and a wood-burning firepit with Adirondack chairs.
• Creekside fun: Relax in the hammock by the creek, grab a tube (provided!) to float right from the property, or let the kids play on the private playground. Tubes are provided for creek floating, but swimming/creek activities are at your own risk.
• Games & activities for all ages: Ping pong table, cornhole boards, and even a kids’ baseball field in the front yard.
• Pet friendly: Bring your furry friends along (pet fee applies). Please let us know if you’re bringing a furry friend! Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
• Plenty of parking: Spacious gravel lot with room for multiple cars.
• Downtown Gatlinburg is just a 35-40 minute drive.

Rideshares and taxis are limited in this area, so we strongly recommend driving for the most convenient experience.

Features Description:
• Age: All guests must be 18 with the exception of children with their parents.
• Weather: No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are outside our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage.
• Trash: Please place all trash in the designated bear proof trash cans and ensure they are locked. If the trash is full, please let us know and we will send someone to empty it for you!
• Pets: Pets are allowed with a $150 fee for up to 2 dogs. As a gentle reminder, please keep pets off all furniture, including beds, sofas, and chairs, to help us maintain a clean and comfortable space for all guests. Any pet hair, dander, or damage found on linens or furniture may result in additional cleaning or replacement fees.
• Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability. Fees apply and vary depending on the requested time, with a starting fee of $60. We may not always be able to accommodate these requests—please message us in advance for details.
• Please bring your personal toiletries like toothpaste, deodorant, etc. A starter supply of the items listed above will be provided. Guests will provide their own supplies after depleting the starter supply of these items.

• Smoking is only allowed outside, as long as guests clean up afterward.
• We can host a maximum of 10 guests (including all adults, children & infants)- for safety (fire & insurance) reasons, we cannot hold any additional guests.
• All amenities including outdoor furniture, wifi, etc are fully inspected prior to every check-in, however, we cannot guarantee their working condition during stays.
• We look forward to hosting all of our upcoming guests. Our cleaning team is going above and beyond to provide top-notch services, with special attention given to high-touch areas. We use commercial-grade antimicrobial agents and ensure that bed sheets and bath towels are professionally laundered between each guest stay.
• However, it's important to note that we cannot guarantee that our properties are 'completely sterile' or 'COVID-free,' just as no other business can reasonably make that claim. Guests are advised to travel and stay with us at their own discretion.
• We do not offer rescheduled stays or refunds for cancellations outside of Airbnb's extenuating circumstances policy. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking if you are concerned about the possibility of canceling your trip last minute. Travel insurance is affordable and provides excellent protection against unforeseen cancellations.
• We understand that last-minute cancellations can be challenging for guests who choose not to purchase travel insurance. However, we must uphold our owners' cancellation policies to protect their primary source of income and maintain their properties in business. Please book responsibly, and we appreciate your understanding.
