The perfect escape for your Mountain getaway. Don't forget your kayaks, tubes, and fishing poles! Located river front on the Tuckaseegee River in North Carolina's Fly Fishing capital, Jackson County. You can fish from the property (with fishing license) or put in your float tube and enjoy a trip down the river to the East Laporte take out.
Our split level chalet has three bedrooms and 2 full baths, den, kitchen and dining room located on the upper level. On the ground level is a small efficiency kitchen, living room, a 4th en-suite bedroom. The deck area has a view of the Tuckaseegee River and gas grill for your use.
Located only 6.3 miles from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee. There is plenty of outdoor activities in the area. Native American stone carvings at Judaculla Rock (3 miles away), Fishing, tubing, kayaking, hiking, sight seeing etc.
The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is a short drive away in Cherokee. View the elk herd at the Cherokee entrance to the park.
We are centrally located to take a day trip to Gatlinburg or Asheville with both being a little over an hour away.
