The Architectural lodge

Paradise for our group of humans and dogs. Such a beautiful spot on the river and a gorgeous unique house. Extremely clean. We immediately felt peaceful and at ease relaxing for the days we spent in Darby.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this fishing cabin outside Darby, MT — it exceeded every expectation. The setting alone is worth the trip: tucked into gorgeous Bitterroot Valley scenery with the kind of peace and quiet that makes you forget your phone even has other apps on it. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully outfitted, with easy access to the water for fishing right outside the door. The layout was perfect for our group of 12 — the living space was well separated from the bedrooms, so people staying up late or getting an early start could hang out, cook, or chat without ever disturbing anyone who was sleeping. That made a huge difference for a group our size and let everyone keep their own rhythm without stepping on each other's toes. Collin was a fantastic host — responsive, easy to communicate with, and clearly took pride in the property. We would go back in a heartbeat and can't recommend it enough.

Skwala House was one of the most unique properties. Beautiful architecture. Though this trip was just my husband and myself, my husband felt that it would be absolutely ideal for a guys upscale fishing retreat. Definitely has a very manly vibe with the stunning woodwork, comfy leather seating, great stereo and superb album collection. The stunning Bitterroot River just steps from the back door, it can’t be beat. Collin was a very responsive host when we had questions so it was a great Airbnb experience.
