Treehouse Social is a design-forward East Austin retreat where architecture and atmosphere take center stage. Vaulted cedar ceilings, warm custom millwork, and walls of glass create a space that feels lifted from the pages of Architectural Digest. Upstairs, an open lounge flows onto a rooftop balcony with a fire pit made for late-night conversations. Downstairs, the backyard invites slow mornings, outdoor workouts, and long dinners under the trees - all just minutes from Rainey Street and downtown.
Treehouse Social unfolds across two levels, where thoughtful architecture and warm materials shape every room.
On the ground floor, the home opens into a relaxed living space that flows naturally into the kitchen - the visual centerpiece of the house. Beneath a skylight, powder-blue cabinetry and open shelving create a kitchen that feels equal parts functional and sculptural. Just beyond, the home transitions into a quieter corner where a dining table sits beside a dramatic floor-to-ceiling library wall and an architectural staircase. Large sliding glass doors open the entire space to the backyard.
Outside, the home opens to a large shaded backyard designed for gathering and unwinding. There’s outdoor dining, a grill, and lawn games including ladder toss, bucket ball, and bucket golf. The yard is fully enclosed, making it a secure space for dogs to roam while you relax. The dining area sits beneath one of Austin’s historic Moon Towers - a rare local landmark that gives the space a uniquely Austin backdrop. The front yard is also spacious and shaded, adding even more outdoor room to enjoy.
Both bedrooms are tucked on this level. The primary suite offers a queen bed and a spa-like ensuite with a soaking tub and walk-in shower, while the guest room features a twin XL over queen bunk.
Upstairs, the mood shifts. A vaulted lounge beneath warm cedar ceilings becomes the home’s social hideaway. Here you’ll find a TV, and a record player with a collection of vinyls, perfect for slow evenings or setting the tone for a night in. Glass doors open directly to a balcony where a fire pit anchors the space - the kind of spot where evenings stretch longer than planned.
In total, the home sleeps up to 7 guests, with the upstairs lounge offering a queen sofa bed for additional sleeping space.
Guests have access to the entire home, including the backyard, rooftop balcony with fire pit, and all indoor living spaces.
Easily get around on foot, by car, bike, rideshare, etc.
Pets are welcome; however, this home is best suited for smaller dogs. We kindly ask that pets remain off the furniture and that guests clean up after their pet both inside and outside, including picking up waste in the yard.
This home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, so we have a zero-tolerance policy for parties, loud gatherings, or disturbances. Please keep noise at a reasonable level throughout the day, and remember that after 10 PM no sound should carry beyond the property line in line with City of Austin regulations.
