Guests enter through the mud room / laundry room with a washer / dryer and plenty of organized space to store your Berkshire gear (year round). The game room is just off the entry and has a foosball table, games, puzzles, books leather sofa and board games - fun for the whole family! The kitchen is a breath of fresh air with gleaming natural light, and all new stainless appliances including a 6 burner gas range, freezer/fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, plus a drinks fridge with coffee station with both drip coffee and espresso maker. The kitchen comes complete with "everything one needs to make Thanksgiving dinner" - that is a Berkshire Rental Properties standard for all our our properties! There is seating for six (6) at the counter plus additional seating for another 6 at the farm style table. The propane fireplace makes it cozy after ski or any cooler evening.
Just off the kitchen is the 3 season sunroom with seating and through a hallway is the more formal dining room with table seating for 6+. Just beyond this room is the living room with smart TV with access to all subscription TV channels such as YouTube TV, Netflix, Hulu and Max. Guest can use the owner's profile or bring your own logins. (This TV service is offered for all 5 TVs.) Also, on the main floor is a beautiful bedroom with a queen bed and an ensuite bath with a tub/shower combo.
The second floor can be accessed from both a front and back staircase. The rear staircase brings you to its own ensuite bedroom with Queen bed, Smart TV, and direct access to its own bathroom with tub/shower. This bedroom suite has its own media room, so it feels like it's own separate apartment - or - the media room can be shared with the rest of the upstairs. The media room has a sofa that folds out to become an full size bed and its own smart TV. This is a fun easy lounge space perfect for an extra guest or two. (The fold-out bed can sleep 2 people snuggly.) Up the front staircase brings you to the other 3 bedrooms and the 3rd full bath. This is the largest bathroom in the house, also with a tub/shower, because it is shared by these 3 bedrooms: Guest room with king bed and smart TV, another guest room with a queen bed and smart TV and a third guest room with a twin size bunk bed. The yoga meditation room is just off the king bed and is a great bonus space! The bedrooms are all comfortably appointed with luxurious linens, blankets, and storage. The hall linen closet is packed with extra sheets, blankets, pillow and oodles of towels - everything our guests need to feel comfortably at home. Outside, just off the kitchen, is a the patio with plenty of seating, a table with umbrella, propane grill (propane included) and a space heater for the cool fall evenings. The large stone fire pit (wood included) has more seating and is tucked into a large lawn suitable for sports and games. Corn hole is included! If you walk down to the bottom of the yard, there is a sweet walking woods to explore. The side porch is covered and has a bench. This country road used to house one large farm and since it was been parceled off, the 4 farm-style colonials have been beautifully restored and are situated for easy access to all Berkshire venues.
Great Location! Down town Great Barrington is less than 10 minutes, 5 minutes to Catamount Ski, 15 minutes to Ski Butternut and 25 minutes to Tanglewood. Guest can walk to the Egremont barn for live music, food, and drinks. Seventeen is a truly beautiful place to enjoy the Berkshires!
