Amenities: 3 bedroom, 1 bath, sleeps 4 or 5, max. waterfront cottage on Prospect Lake with a sun deck, bar, 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, 1 paddle board, fishing rods, 2 outdoor dining areas, dock with swim ladder and lighting, waterfront seating, fire pit, propane BBQ grill, central heating and cooling, washer/dryer, dishwasher, a sunroom with panoramic views of the lake, 4 car parking, 2 TVs with Directv channels, high speed Fiber Optic Internet & WIFI (zoom friendly!), and a Jacuzzi Tub/Shower combo in the bathroom.
The Lakeside Cottage is a wonderful waterfront retreat with direct access to Prospect Lake. This well equipped home, with lots of thoughtful touches, offers guests the perfect place to relax by the waterside and enjoy all the perks of lakeside living.
The MAIN FLOOR of this home has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas range, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. You can enjoy a meal inside at the dining table that comfortably seats 4+ or at the pub table (that seats 2), overlooking the water in the sunroom. The living room has comfortable seating, a HD TV with Direct TV channels, and a fireplace that is currently for decoration only. The home is equipped with high speed fiber-optic internet and WIFI, which allows guests to stream multiple devices at the same time and to make zoom calls without issue. Next to the living room is the sun room which offers panoramic views of the lake. There is additional seating in the sunroom with 2 chairs and a pub table, which is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the water views. Also conveniently located in the sun room is the large-size washer and dryer. Head down a small hallway to the 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath located on this main floor. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has 2 twins. The full bath boasts a jacuzzi tub/shower combo. Climb the ladder just off of the kitchen to head UPSTAIRS to the 3rd bedroom with a twin size bed, and a small loft area. This area, because it is accessed by a ladder, would not be suitable for young children or elderly folks.
OUTSIDE, and onto the sun deck you can easily unwind at the bar or have a seat at the dining table with seating for 4. There is a propane BBQ grill that is hard-piped directly to the house, so you will never have to worry about changing an empty tank. Head down to the water where the fun continues! There is an additional eating area with a large table and chairs, a hammock, and a fire pit (with the wood supplied) and Adirondack chairs. There is a dock with a swim ladder, 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, and 1 paddle board for guests to enjoy. The homeowner has a nice supply of beach towels and adult & child life vests (all sizes not guaranteed), as well as fishing rods. The rods will be checked often, and are offered in “as-is” condition. With outdoor lighting and speakers this waterfront retreat can't be beat!
