About the property

A Florida dream waiting to be discovered. This stunning, gated oasis delivers a multi textured feast for the senses with an array of light-filled entertaining spaces & high-end finishes. Surrounded by majestic pines, mature royal palms & a 16-foot hedge, the home offers privacy, within sought-after Wilton Manors & only blocks to "The Drive." Vaulted ceilings & walls of glass create a spacious environment that blurs the lines between indoors & out. A very livable open floor plan features 3 comfortable bedrooms & 3 full bathrooms with natural light & patios off each room. The open kitchen overlooks the newer saltwater pool & deck area that invites you to enjoy supreme tranquility all year. A typical day here may look like this: Wake up, brew a delicious cup of coffee and take in the lovely view of the expansive back yard from the kitchen. You can also visit one of the most quaint little breakfast spots in Fort Lauderdale called Egg & U Diner. It's owned by a British woman who welcomes all Fort Lauderdale locals every morning with a warm smile, and where the servers are as lovely as they are irreverent. They've been there for 60+ years, and it's an institution. Right in the same small shopping center, there's a consignment store called Decades. Here you can find your next treasured home decor item. They have anything from Restoration Hardware furniture all the way to a unique bauble discovered at a thrift store. All in great shape and ready to occupy that perfect spot in your home. If some beach time is in order, you're very close to Fort Lauderdale Beach, which is between Oakland Park Blvd (Northern point), and Las Olas Blvd (Southern point). The closer to Oakland Park you get the quieter and more peaceful it is. If you enjoy a little more activity, people and volleyball, head towards Las Olas! You're welcome to use the beach chairs and towels that are at the property. All along A1A, the road bordering the beach, there's plenty of parking and many bars and restaurants for you to visit. After you've relaxed, you may want to head over to Wilton Manors, the super fun LGBTQ district in Fort Lauderdale. You can grab a bite at Tulio's Tacos, (try the Smokey Pineapple Margarita, you'll thank me!), and any of their tacos are delicious. Here you'll see locals and tourists mingle as they walk from gastropub to gastropub all along the Wilton Drive strip. We suggest you also try another local hangout: Apt. 9F, which sits across the street from Tulio's Tacos, and serves great wines and tapas. Please tell Carol and Nancy (the owners) that Alex & Ray sent you, they'll treat you extra nice ;-). There's plenty of places to enjoy a great dinner such as Union Kitchen and Bar (also in Wilton Manors), try their Japanese Old Fashion, it'll change your life. Also, if you like pasta, mushrooms and you love truffle, try their Porcini Campanelle, heaven on a plate! If good Peruvian is your thing, Bravo is a great option. They began with gourmet sandwiches, which are a must, and then expanded their menu to full offering of delicious Peruvian dishes. Their Ceviche de Corvina is perhaps the best one, or the Lomo Saltado if you're in the mood for steak. Portions are good sized. When you're ready to turn in, enjoy the large rain shower head, and amazing water pressure of our showers. The beds are meant to provide restorative sleep. We can't wait to host you! Guest access All 10,000 sqft of this lot and property are fenced in and 100% private. Other things to note +Some pets allowed - There is a $250 pet fee if you travel with one pet, and $350 for two or more pets. If we smell smoke you will be fined $500. You're welcome to smoke outside. +No loud noise/music after 9PM. +In South Florida it's typical for there to be rain and high winds, which may cause additional leaves from the large trees to fall into the pool. There's a pool net available. You're welcome to use this to clean the pool in between pool service cleanings. The pool service comes every Tuesday and Friday. +Some guests may find that the color of the water coming from the faucets may have a yellowish tint. The yellow coloration occurs naturally in regions across the nation where water flows through peat soil. The city's water comes from the Biscayne Aquifer. Fort Lauderdale's water is perfectly clean and potable. Per City of Fort Lauderdale: -No commercial vehicles allowed -No more than 3 vehicles on the driveway -No street parking -No more than 9 guests allowed at any time on property total. -No commercial filming allowed -No noise after 9PM -No events
