You have just found the most out of the ordinary private, waterfront tropical paradise retreat in the heart of exciting Fort Lauderdale. Walking distance to beach, walking distance to shopping and entertainment, heated swimming pool, air conditioning and much more, this gorgeous, cozy apartment is the ultimate holiday destination. One bedroom with a large and comfortable king sized bed, adorned with the most luxurious Percale sheets and pillows for a restorative sleep. The stocked kitchen has all you need to create a great meal, and the updated bathroom is just the perfect size for this space.
Step onto the decked area to catch the most beautiful sunsets, you may even catch a school of dolphin while you're out there (look at the images!).
The neighborhood is called Central Beach, and it's perfect for walking around, and stopping at little shops along the way, as well as all the restaurants and bars. The closest grocery store is Publix Supermarket at the Galleria, and it has everything you'll need. One of the largest and nicest shopping malls is just 5 mins away by car, called Galleria Mall. Also, the dog beach is just a few steps to the North of Sunrise Blvd. You can always grab the Water Taxi and head out to great stops along the Intracoastal.
Guest access
Guests have access to the common grounds of the Holiday Isles Yacht Club, which include:
• Heated pool
• Shuffleboard
• BBQ grills
• Sundecks
• Waterfront dock with access to Water Taxis
These are some of our favorite restaurants and bars walking distance:
Takato. Impeccable and chic sushi restaurant serving delicious and unusual combinations of Japanese-Korean seafood & meat plates and really good cocktails with perfect ocean views from the terrace. Try the Maguro Foie Gras and pair it with the Shikoku Margarita... you'll thank me later ;-).
For Brunch you can't go wrong with Village Cafe. We stop there after we go biking, and it's a perfect place to sit outside and sip a mimosa while waiting on your Classic or Village Benedict.
For an all around good restaurant and an even better bar, go to S3 (Sun Surf Sand). Right across from the sandy beach, this place is uber friendly, and fun (and inexpensive) around happy hour. The sunsets here are perfect.
If you want to go upscale, don't go anywhere else than Evelyn's and MAASS at the Four Seasons. Evelyn's is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants around and the service is flawless. MAASS with its Japanese inspired dishes and famous chef (Ryan Ratino) is a must!
A few of our favorite bars are:
Wine Garden, an intimate, quiet garden terrace serving wine, pizza and cheese boards. It's lovely!
For something not walking distance and a little more LGBTQ inspired, try DrYnk in Wilton Manors. NYC vibe meets South Florida chill at this upscale gay bar with a very cool back yard. Good, solid drinks, and ambiance. Pregame here before hopping to the other bars.
No Man's Land is a very unique, cool bar a little further South, closer to Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Craft cocktails with a hideaway feel, we love this place, and we're willing to bet you will too.
There's plenty more favorite places we like to hang out, so feel free to ask us!
