Insects

Please be aware that as a tropical state, the presence of insects such as ants and the like are fairly common in Florida. The property is regularly treated for pest control to mitigate their presence, but do note that it may still be possible to encounter insects during your stay. Please avoid leaving food outside (including residue in the grill and fire), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed when possible.

Sea Turtles

Sea turtle nesting season runs from May 1 through October 31. Please observe the following guidelines at the beach: keep outdoor lights off, dispose trash properly, fill in holes dug in sand, take down erected temporary structures such as boats, toys, and sandcastles by 9 PM, avoid using flashlights and lanterns, do not use motorized vehicles, do not light bonfires, and avoid touching the turtles and their nests under any circumstances. 

If you find a dead or injured sea turtle, refer to Turtle Time, Inc's website.

Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM. We kindly ask that you refrain from hosting parties or creating excessive noise during your stay, as we strive to maintain a peaceful environment for both our guests and neighbors. Amplified outdoor sounds are strictly prohibited.

Please be advised that following hurricanes Ian, Milton, and Helene, there may be construction projects across the island. This may include construction noise, nearby building projects, increased traffic, or beach restoration efforts, which may potentially impact your stay. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

This home contains features that may be difficult for mobility-challenged guests, including climbing stairs to navigate the property. There are approximately two dozen steps between the ground floor to the main floor, and the main floor to the third floor.

This home follows a strict maximum occupancy rule. Please make sure that the total number of guests accompanying you (including both children and adults) doesn’t exceed the indicated maximum occupancy above to avoid cancellation of your stay and additional fees.

This is a pet-free hypoallergenic space. No pets are allowed inside the home to maintain a hypoallergenic area as much as possible for our guests’ comfort.

The pool at this Wander is available daily from 8 AM to 8 PM and can be heated to 88 °F at no extra cost. Please contact the Concierge team at least 72 hours before your arrival if you would like the pool heat adjusted during your stay.

Events

Hosting parties and events is strictly not allowed in this property.

Late Checkout

Late checkouts will incur an extra fee of $25 per hour, plus an additional cleaning fee if over 2 hours late. Please note that if there is no prior approval for late checkout and you cannot be reached by 10 AM on checkout day, staff may come in and pack belongings into plastic bags to store in the nearest storage facility. Please contact Concierge to pick up your belongings.
