This week

Great stay- beautiful home with gorgeous views of the Smokies. Offered a lot of space for our family of 5 but you could easily fit a couple of families here. Super high ceilings/windows really gives it the wow factor. Beds all very comfortable and the bunk room was perfect for the kids (they loved it and had their own bathroom.) Arcade games were a hit. The indoor pool was so nice to have and very warm (84 degrees.) Also, very safe with a lock/alarm- you don’t need to worry w/small children. This home appears to offer more privacy than a lot of the others in the area and has more yard space. Only 10 min to downtown Gatlinburg (be prepared for narrow winding roads but that’s part of the adventure!) We enjoyed/would recommend Dollywood, Splash Country, Anakeesta (including the Astra Lumina night light show), Pirate dinner show, The Escape Room, Hillbilly Golf, Wonderworks and a helicopter ride (Scenic Helicopter Tours.) We had a bear come on the deck every day- quite the experience!

Awnna’s home was exactly as described. The house was truly, amazing. The views were as pictured. The home was beautiful but that wasn’t the coolest part! Every morning and periodically throughout the day, a family of bears would come down and join us for coffee. Our kids felt like they were in their own private zoo. It was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. There were also lots of fun things for the kids to do inside, which was a huge plus for our family. Awnna was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, the home was a great fit for our trip and we really enjoyed our time there! One thing we would caution future guests about is the bears. We knew they were common in the area, but they came right up to the porch/balcony and around our cars several times. They also did not seem bothered by the bear air horn. We would recommend being very cautious outside and not staying outside for extended periods, especially with young children. This is simply something to be aware of when visiting the area and did not take away from how much we enjoyed the home!
