Welcome to Big Abe, a newly built luxury lodge perched high in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where sunset views stretch for miles and nature’s beauty flows into every room. Designed for families, friends, corporate retreats, and multi-family vacations, this spacious lodge offers 5 private bedrooms, a bunk room, and expansive indoor-outdoor gathering spaces, welcoming up to 14 guests with ease.
From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows framing the mountain ridges, rich wood finishes, and thoughtful touches that make this cabin both luxurious and incredibly welcoming. The main-level living area features a gorgeous gas fireplace, plush seating, and an open kitchen and dining space, so your whole group can cook, dine, and relax together.
Every bedroom is a private retreat, with its own full ensuite bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy for all. The bunk room, perfect for kids or extra guests, shares a bath with one of the king suites—offering flexible space that feels both cozy and convenient.
On the lower level, you’ll find a second lounge space with a wet bar, gas fireplace, and direct access to the deck with a hot tub overlooking the view. Whether you’re toasting at sunset, stargazing in the tub, or warming up by the fire, Big Abe seamlessly blends luxury and laid-back mountain living.
This cabin was designed to embrace the beauty of its surroundings, with multiple porches and decks, an outdoor wood-burning fireplace, and plenty of seating for sunrise coffee and evening cocktails.
Located 15-25 minutes from Blue Ridge’s best attractions—Mercier Orchards, Blue Ridge Lake, Aska Trails, Serenity Spa, and Downtown Blue Ridge’s restaurants and shops—you’re perfectly positioned for both adventure and relaxation.

Roads to the cabin are fully paved, but steep with switchbacks—we recommend AWD/4WD year-round, especially in winter weather
Onsite parking for up to 4 vehicles is available
No RVs, trailers, or boats are permitted due to road conditions and driveway size
Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are extremely limited in this area—guests should plan to drive themselves or rent a vehicle
No public transportation is available
Local attractions, grocery stores, and restaurants are a 15-25 minute drive away
