Glacier Grande is an extraordinary lodge consisting of two private homes, Glacier Lodge West and Glacier Lodge East, with panoramic views over the valley and the Steamboat ski resort. The two residences offer 7 bedrooms accommodating up to 18 guests.
Enter either residence from their respective front doors on the main level of the home or through their 2-car garages.
Both sides of this home have grand, open great rooms with outstanding views. Each has toasty gas fireplaces, dining tables for the whole family, game tables, sitting areas with large flat-screen televisions, wet bars, and breakfast bar seating. Each home also has a large deck with seating for outdoor dining and BBQ grills. At Glacier Lodge West, you’ll find a hot tub on the lower level with stunning views of Yampa Valley. Both homes have laundry rooms, heated garages, and boot warmers.
Glacier Lodge East Bedrooms
Upstairs is a spacious primary king suite with high wood ceilings, a unique mural painting, and a private balcony. This primary retreat enjoys an ensuite with a walk-in shower and an adjacent private sitting room with comfortable leather chairs and a wall-mounted TV.
On the main level are the two bedrooms, each with direct views of Steamboat’s ski slopes. Both rooms have TVs and the convenient option of a king bed or two XL twins. One room has an ensuite bathroom and the other shares a full-hall bathroom.
Glacier Lodge West Bedrooms
On the main level is the primary king suite with cathedral ceilings, a private patio, and valley views. This room also offers a twin daybed for a little one to share the room. The ensuite bathroom offers dual vanities, a waterfall showerhead, separate w.c., and plentiful closet space.
The lower level of the home holds the remaining three bedrooms and the family room with access to the hot tub, including a king suite (ability to split to 2 XL twin beds), a second king suite, and a bunkroom with a TV that sleeps five in a twin over twin bunk bed and a twin over queen bunk bed.
For smaller groups of up to 6-12 guests we can offer the option of either of the chalets individually.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: This home is experiencing major disruption from a house being built on the lot next door to Glacier Lodge West. Give us a call to discuss current activity as it ebbs and flows. Rates have been reduced to accommodate inconveniences that may be present.
PLEASE NOTE: Steep access road. 4WD and winter tires are required to access this home. Please contact our office to make plans to use our shuttle and remote park your vehicle.

This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. Skip the hassle of a rental car and let us take you where you need to go.

IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
This home enjoys air conditioning in summer.
