Upstairs in the main house, three bedrooms await for a restful night of sleep. The primary bedroom features a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom, and Bedroom 2 also offers a queen bed. The third bedroom features two bunk beds and two twin trundles, perfect for the kids. The guest house offers additional space and privacy, with a main floor featuring a cozy living area, dining nook, and a convenient kitchenette. Upstairs, you'll find a fourth bedroom with 2 full beds, 2 twin beds, and 2 twin trundles, providing plenty of space for larger groups or families traveling together. Home Truths: - Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet. - There are two bear mats by the side and back doors. - Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood-burning fireplaces, fire pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short-term rental regulations. - Please note this home does not have AC. Fans are provided in every closet to help you stay cool. - The beach across the street is semi-private. Guests have access to it, but it is not exclusive and neighbors often use the small frontage. - There is a private buoy available for guests to rent for $125 per night (rules and regulations apply). - Please note that during the winter months, all outdoor furniture, including the grills, will be unavailable. - There’s no parking at the Sherwood lift, but it’s a convenient drop-off spot just minutes from the house. You can also take the free Sunnyside shuttle, which is often quicker than driving to the main Alpine Meadows entrance. Parking Details: - Long tandem four-car driveway. - No street parking allowed. - Violations result in fines of $1,000 and up, and revocation of the permit after three or more violations. This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib and high chair available. --- The room configuration is as follows: Primary Bedroom / Queen bed Bedroom 2 / Queen bed Bedroom 3 / 2 twin over twin bunk beds, 2 trundle beds Bedroom 4 (Guest House) / 2 twin beds, 2 full beds, 2 trundles --- This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions. As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce.
