Welcome to The Joshua Tree Resort (aka “The Lazy River House”), an exclusive retreat that combines the serenity of nature with the indulgence of a private amenity-filled resort. Nestled in the heart of Joshua Tree, this four-bedroom residence stands apart as one of the only homes in the high desert with its own private lazy river - a fluid centerpiece designed for total relaxation. The property offers panoramic mountain views, a complete wellness circuit, and immersive indoor-outdoor living.

Flowing seamlessly through the home's architecture, 20-foot fold-away glass doors dissolve the boundary between inside and out. Mornings begin with sunlight pouring into the open-concept great room, where desert-inspired interiors meet modern comfort. The chef's kitchen is appointed with professional Thor appliances, a walk-in pantry, and a refined espresso bar for slow mornings or group entertaining.

Outside, the property unfolds into a series of private experiences. Drift through the lazy river, relax in the hot tub, or complete the rejuvenating cycle of sauna and cold plunge. A yoga deck and zen garden offer space for quiet reflection, while multiple fire pits and lounge areas invite long evenings beneath a canopy of stars. For playful moments, the garage game room includes a pool table, darts, arcade games, and an 86” Smart TV, while the three-hole putting green and outdoor theater create effortless spaces for gathering and fun.

Each of the four bedrooms has been designed with a sense of minimal luxury - Rest® linens, soft textures, and restful tones inspired by the desert landscape. The primary suite features a Cal king bed and ensuite bath, while three additional bedrooms with queen beds provide comfort and privacy for families or groups. IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

• SERVICE PROVIDERS - Please be advised that the pool / hot tub service provider and landscaping services are conducted on Mondays & Thursdays. They arrive between 8am and 5pm. Additionally, trash service is on Fridays.

• PETS - No pets of any kind are allowed on the premises. An undisclosed animal will result in a fee of $1,000 per animal per night and is cause for immediate eviction without refund.

• PARKING - The maximum number of cars permitted on the property is 8. All cars must be parked on the property or risk towing at your own expense. Should the house receive a citation due to parking on the street you will be responsible for payment of the citation.

• LUGGAGE DROP OFF - We will gladly accommodate luggage and refrigerator item drop off etc when prearranged with a 48hr notice and a $60 prepaid fee.

• PHOTO/VIDEO & COMMERCIAL USE - PRIOR APPROVAL IS REQUIRED BEFORE BOOKING: Guests are welcome to take photos and videos for personal use, and we'd love for you to tag @stayfieldtrip and @TheJoshuaTreeResort when sharing. Please note that drones are not permitted due to county restrictions. Commercial, professional, promotional, editorial, or other revenue-generating shoots are subject to a production fee depending on the scope of the project. Additionally, any filming on the property is permitted only upon receiving formal approval from the County of San Bernardino. Approved productions require advance payment, a signed production agreement, proof of production insurance, and a location release. IF YOU ARE UNSURE WHETHER YOUR SHOOT QUALIFIES AS COMMERCIAL USE, PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE BOOKING. Unauthorized commercial shoots may result in cancellation of the reservation and applicable production fees, including if the activity is discovered during or after the stay.

• SAFETY: For your safety, please be advised that there are cameras located on every corner of both homes, on strategic parts along the perimeter of the property, as well as a front door camera of each home for a total of 24. No cameras are located in private spaces.

• EXTRA GUESTS & LARGE GROUPS - The advertised price is for up to 10 overnight guests in the main house only. Undisclosed extra night time guest fee is $300 per person per night.

Up to 5 additional daytime guests may be added to any reservation for $50 per person. Fee applies to any extra person not part of the original reservation. Daytime guest may be on the property between the hours of 9am to 6pm. Undisclosed extra day time guest fee is $150 per person per day.

If you're interested in hosting a larger group, you may do so by adding the ADU/Casita to your reservation for a fee. Here, you may host an additional 6 overnight guests. Please inquire if you are interested in adding this new addition to your reservation.

*SALT WATER POOL & LAZY RIVER

• GLASS NEAR POOL - Absolutely no glass near the pool. Glass in the pool is grounds for completely draining and cleaning of the pool and will result in a fee of $10,000.

• POOL HEATING - Hot Tub heat is included (however, we do reserve the right to charge for misuse). Pool heating is available for a fee based on time of year, with a 3-night minimum and heating required on consecutive days. For best results, pool heating should be requested at least 72 hours in advance. Pool heating fee must be paid 5 days before arrival. Heating fees are non-refundable. Pool temperature may vary and cannot be guaranteed due to weather conditions, improper use, or changes to the heating settings during the stay.

  June - August: $250 per day with a 3 day minimum or a $750 minimum
  April, May & September: $350 per day with a 3 day minimum or a $1050 minimum
  March & October: $500 per day with a 3 day minimum or a $1500 minimum
  November - February: $600 per day with a 3 day minimum or a $1800 minimum
