A unique experience in the desert. Zebra Shadow is a rental house nestled on private 3.5-acre property, a short drive from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Zebra Shadow is quite isolated, located on a winding road that leads directly to the center of downtown Joshua Tree.
Zebra Shadow can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. The house consists of a living room, an open fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms with a rain shower. The house also has an outdoor area with a patio with a dining table, grill, propane fireplace. Zebra Shadow is a modern house with a white beam pergola that lets in the rays of the sun, from which the house takes its name. The house is very beautiful to look at from the outside as well as from the inside.
The minimalist-style interiors are carefully decorated with contemporary furnishings and accessories. The house has many openings allowing natural light to enter and immerse yourself in the surrounding landscape with breathtaking views. The house is equipped with all new appliances, a washer and dryer, air conditioning and heating, a bluetooth speaker, and high speed wifi.
The house is ideally located, to feel private while having quick access to the city center, restaurants, gas stations, shops and many other offers nearby.
In an idyllic setting, Zebra Shadow offers a unique experience in the desert.

You'll need a car, but there are Ubers and Lucky 777 Cab in town.
► Cold Plunge: The cold plunge tub is drained and cleaned and left empty before every guest - you can fill it up using a hose nearby. Please note that we do not provide ice for the cold plunge. If you'd like to utilize the cold plunge during your stay, we recommend picking up a few bags (about 50 lbs.) at a local grocery store.

Paved Roads/Dirt Roads: No dirt roads but dirt driveway.

◦ Wildlife: this is the rural desert and we share the space with the wildlife. You may encounter desert ants, mice, coyotes, or if you’re lucky a bobcat.

Noise ordinance:
Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. No external speakers allowed. Any noise related discrepancies will result in at least a $1000 fine.
◦ SMOKING POLICY
No smoking inside the house or within 10ft. Smoke residue will result in excessive cleaning fees
◦ Restricted Areas:
Any locked closet or room is restricted. If forcibly entered you could be held liable for any unaccounted for item.
◦ Hot Tub/Pool:
Hot Tub Use: Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times.
Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration.
No drinking in the hot tub, please.
Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we're in the desert and debris can easily get into the water.
Any misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional charge for extra maintenance.
-Cowboy Tub Availability-
The cowboy tub is drained and unavailable for guest use during winter months (November - March) to prevent the filter from freezing and breaking.

No un permitted photoshoots or videoing at the home. If you would like to use our home for those purposes please send us a message. Any unauthorized filming will result in a $5000 violation and production fee.
