Named after the Greek word “noēsis,” which means inner wisdom and deep understanding, Noetic House is more than just a place to stay — it’s a sanctuary for introspection, healing, and connection with nature. This serene desert retreat in Joshua Tree is designed for those seeking solitude, tranquility, and an environment that encourages reflection. With no immediate neighbors and endless views of the desert landscape, Noetic House offers a peaceful escape where the beauty of the natural world meets the inner journey of self-discovery.

A small desk is provided to work from home or journal, and a smart TV is provided for movie nights. With blackout blinds, you’ll find it easy to unwind and recharge. The ensuite bathroom features an oversized vanity, a large step-in shower and soft Quince Turkish cotton towels for a spa-like experience.
-Outdoor Amenities-
Outside, Noetic House invites you to connect with the natural world. The gas firepit on the front porch is a perfect spot to enjoy the gentle desert breezes and sweeping vistas, while the nearby hot tub and 6' cowboy tub soaking pool offer opportunities for soothing relaxation under the expansive sky. An outdoor shower allows you to refresh surrounded by the elements. Lie back and let the stars guide your thoughts as you immerse yourself in the quiet magic of the desert night.
-Surrounding Area-
800,000 acres of mystical beauty: Joshua Tree National Park is one of the world’s most incredible natural desert treasures. Sweeping, grand, and populated by granite monoliths and voluptuous rock and boulder formations, this quiet land, conducive to meditation and roaming, was carved by extremes in climate - wind, rain and an ever-present, relentless sun. Diverse forms of plant life are found everywhere, but none as unique or prevalent as the park’s namesake: the Joshua tree, standing majestically across the vast topography.
Joshua Tree is also known for its quirky art installations and unique restaurants - visit local art installations or discover the charm of nearby shops and eateries. But with the peace, quiet, and natural beauty surrounding you, you may find it hard to leave this sanctuary.

-Desert Wildlife & Safety Tips-
The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. ESAs/service animals should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.
-Security Cameras-
There are security cameras mounted by the front door, in the carport, and on the front corner of the house in order to monitor the quantity of people and cars on the property, so we may ensure compliance with local ordinances. There are no security cameras in any private areas of the home or outdoor space.
-Cleaning Fee-
100% of the cleaning fee goes directly to our hardworking cleaners.
-Damage Waiver Policy-
Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver
