Greystone is a unique, custom-built mountain retreat nestled in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Enjoy incredible private views of the canyon, framing a magnificent rock formation, local wildlife, and a forest of wild evergreens.
Bring the whole crew! Greystone has plenty of room for friends and family. The main cabin hosts 2 Master Suites, one with a fireplace, and a Jack and Jill bathroom between two other bedrooms. The kids are sure to love the cool bunk room with 8 bunks, each with their own light and charging station. The downstairs features another living room with a smart TV, custom wet bar, hot tub, a large bathroom with an extra shower.
This secluded, newly-constructed property is a study in detail featuring 20’ ceilings, timber beam construction, infinity floors, hand-hewn doors, an Edison bulb chandelier, floating staircase, underground mining-inspired tunnel, and century-old salvaged wood. Each wall is lovingly adorned with custom heat-treated metals, birch branches sourced from the property, and rescued woods from the Midwest – there’s not an inch of plain ol’ sheetrock visible on any wall. It’s complete with wood-burning fireplaces and a hot tub with a glorious view for an unforgettable stay! There’s nothing else like it!
AVAILABLE FOR ADDITIONAL NIGHTLY FEE
Hideout - Connected to the main cabin by an awe-inspiring underground tunnel, this is an additional full living quarters complete with a kitchen, dining area, living room, daybed, 2 bedrooms, and bathroom. It comes with an additional one-stall garage parking and half bath. Contact us upon booking to add this on!
Check-in is contactless and simple. Greystone is located a short 5 minutes from Terry Peak Ski Lodge, 15 minutes from historic Deadwood, and an hour from Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, and Custer State Park. It’s an ideal gathering space for family vacations, holidays, retreats, reunions, weddings, or just to get away. There is an attached two-car garage, plenty of additional parking including room for trailers, and in-floor heat in the mud room. An RV hookup is available at an additional fee.
The owners at Trailhound Cabin Co. are always available via text or phone call. While texting is the quickest way to get ahold of us, we do respond to phone calls as well! Thanks!
This is a secluded, private location on ten acres of land without a neighbor in sight. You’re welcome to explore and enjoy the entire property.
We recommend four-wheel drive vehicles from October through April, as there are 2 miles of gravel road. Please use care and drive slowly.
