Everything is within walking distance, including the beach, amazing restaurants, chic boutiques, and beach bars.

Here are some of the top things to do while you’re here:
1} Sign up for Beach Sports' weekly Beach, Surf, and Junior Lifeguard Camp for kids aged 4-14. This is a great way to keep your kids active and entertained during the summer season and is right down the street on 14th.
2} Rent electric bikes and take a ride along the Strand, which is one of the best things to do in Manhattan Beach. You can ride to Hermosa Beach or Redondo Beach in one direction and Santa Monica in the other. Stop at Martha's in Hermosa Beach for breakfast along the way.
3} Head over to The Strand, where everyone walks, runs, and skates. Bring a bottle of wine and a beach blanket to watch the beautiful sunset.
4} Visit the Roundhouse Aquarium located on the famous Manhattan Beach Pier, which is a great activity for families with small kids. They also offer a Summer Science Beach Camp in the summer.
5} Check out the volleyball courts located on the beach on 14th street, as well as up and down the beach where you might be able to spot some pro volleyball players practicing. Manhattan Beach is home to some famous volleyball stars like Sinjin Smith, Kerri Walsh, and Casey Jennings. Don't miss the AVP Manhattan Beach Open volleyball tournament and the 6-Man beach Volleyball tournament held in the summertime.
6} Rent a surfboard or boogie board from a local surf store and take some lessons if you want to learn. Surfing and boogie boarding are a must-do activity while you're in Manhattan Beach.
Overall, Manhattan Beach is a vibrant, laid-back coastal town with plenty of activities to keep you and your family entertained during your visit.

Lunch & Dinner: Fishing with Dynamite, Esperanza Cocina De La Playa, Rockefeller-MB, Pitfire Pizza Sugarfish, The IZAKA-YA, Rock N Fish, Simmzy’s, The Strand House, Nick’s, Love & Salt, and our favorite local place El Sombrero for Mexican Food.

Juice & Coffee | Right up the street is the owner's favorite place for the best coffee called Goodboybob’s and Kreation and Pressed Juice.
Grocery Shopping is walkable to Von’s and the local Manhattan Beach Farmers market held on Tuesday’s.

Depending on your itinerary while in town, you can either rent a car or many guests rely on Uber and Lyft which are always available within minutes.
