Nestled beneath tall oak trees and facing the main channel, this spacious property offers 3,500 square feet, 2 boat slips available for guest use, and comfortable accommodations for any group seeking a stress-free getaway along the shores of Lake Norman. Located at the end of a private drive, this large, custom designed home is perfect for large families, friends, and couples traveling together. As this property sits right on the lake, the opportunities are endless for your vacation at this getaway home. Spend your days swimming, boating, kayaking and more! The outdoor area is equipped with a grill, (propane provided) private deck with lake views, lower level covered patio and a screened-in porch with seating. Although the owner does keep her pontoon at the dock, there are 2 empty slips available for guests' use. Without a boat, you'll still have a blast jumping from the dock into the water for some fun in the sun as well as using the kayak, and paddle board provided with your rental! A staircase is conveniently located at the beginning of the dock that leads to shallow waters for easy access. Right before the dock on your right side, look out for the swinging bench, yet another spot for spectacular panoramic views of the lake. Landover Lodge is filled with all of the amenities you'll need right at your fingertips, including a beautiful, fully equipped, kitchen with both Keurig and drip coffee options, granite countertops, large center island, new table and chairs. The living area is complete with a flat-screen TV, gorgeous rounded archways, tall cathedral ceilings, and a bank of windows that allow for great natural lighting. New swivel chairs in the living room allow guests to swing around to enjoy the amazing lake view for coffee in the morning, or an adult beverage in the evening at sunset. Adjacent to the living area is a gorgeous dining room with a mid-century table and large windows to enjoy the lake view while eating your favorite meal with friends and family. There are no stairs to enter which makes the house easily accessible for anyone in a wheelchair. The house boasts three master bedrooms with king-sized beds and tall windows allowing couples a luxurious space to themselves. The main level luxurious master en-suite bathroom comes with a jetted tub and walk-in shower. Besides the masters, there are two additional bedrooms. One on the main level with a queen bed and the other on the upper level there's a cloud bedroom with sleeping options for six with two twin over full bunk beds. This room comes equipped with an en-suite full bath. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances. - Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation. Parking Details: Maximum of 5 cars allowed onsite. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions. As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we cannot always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
